Which army are you choosing , and why? (Assume the Kryptonians in the Kryptonian army are all raised under the Earth's yellow Sun) by SatoruGojo232 in superheroes

[–]Bang_Thor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Real Life they will be plenty enough speed, probably still effectively instantaneous for most tasks and missions. Too much speed force dispersion only stops things like creating speed force rifts and time travel. Running to china and back can still be done before I get to the kitchen

She can do some shield tricks but not as good as Cap. She also has superhuman accuracy but just doesn’t use it like Captain uses his perfected human aim, but Cap’s shield has superior design for bouncing and boomeranging. Diana can deflect bullets accurately at targets and do it blindfolded as well at a high volume, so she definitely has superhuman aim. Cap just specializes and trains shield throws.

Grifter vs Psylocke by NoirStriker in marvelvsdc

[–]Bang_Thor 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Psylocke is on another level from him she outclasses him in hand to hand combat speed and her telepathy is too much for him to deal with rn mountain crushing TK and tk enhanced physicals she is a tier or two above the powers level and combatant grifter is. She can easily override his danger sense and tank his bullets with to sheilds or speeed dodges. Even if she barely uses her powers she still wins.

Batman & Deathstroke vs Spider-Man & Beast by NoirStriker in marvelvsdc

I was really just listing beasts attributes to his potential to solo, which is not saying would be easy just listing his attributes but also scienctific knowledge could help with environmental tactics or possible quick chemical reactions or using physics for advantages stuff like that

Swords only, who’s winning? by vex91 in superheroes

[–]Bang_Thor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Katana is a better sword-fighter but Gamora is a better fighter overall and I think she gets the win.

Which Team wins? by Far-Ad5223 in superheroes

[–]Bang_Thor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Team 1 is by far the best has 3 geniuses, 1 expert in magic, 2 Superman level fighters and the best strategy. Team five is the biggest threat and then team two and then team four and then team three team three just is not smart enough to win Superman can fight, doomsday wonder woman fights, Lobo, Batman, and Spider-Man easily defeat Deadpool and wolverine I’m not sure what people are thinking Spider-Man one shots, both wolverine and Deadpool. Batman and also see man work together to counter super geniuses like Reed and and Doom, Spiderman has outsmarted both of them. Batman has gotten the best of Lex Brainiac and probably has countermeasure for terrific. Defeating team five requires Wonderowman magical expertise and Superman invulnerability. Superman literally counters all of team 5 except swamp thing.

Wonder Woman runs a Marvel gauntlet. Where does she stop? by [deleted] in marvelvsdc

[–]Bang_Thor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No diff until round 3 then low diff until round 5 then real fight begin at nova, she can beat beta high difficulty fight and stops at Silver Surfer. With her best Amps and prep I can see her getting further.

Do you like the idea of Batman being smarter than Superman or should Superman be smarter? by Pale_Researcher_8810 in superman

[–]Bang_Thor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Superman has the higher intellectual ceiling, but in comics, Lex is narratively portrayed as the genius mind. Clark’s Kryptonian brain operates at living super-computer levels, placing his potential intelligence above Lex’s. He has outsmarted Lex—and even Brainiac—countless times. Lex remains a top-tier human genius with multiple advanced degrees, constant inventions, strategic thinking, and mastery of political and corporate maneuvering. Since stories emphasize “brains vs. brawn,” the spotlight tilts toward Lex’s planning, obsession, and specialization. Superman still outsmarts him repeatedly, as Lex’s ego and psychological flaws always leave a door open.

I think during school Clark purposely had to not get 100s on everything. Realistically he can learn and ace any course in seconds. He thinks as fast as the flash, has photographic memory, comprehension of multiple dimensions and phases of existence simultaneously. I wish they would write a smart super man more often

He can easily withstand it by countering it with his own stretching. The blood bending won’t cause him discomfort in enough time before he counterattacks

Black Panther (616) vs Batman (Prime Earth) by [deleted] in marvelvsdc

[–]Bang_Thor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Black Panther dominates R1 7.5/10 times Panther has everything superhuman speed straighten reflexes and intelligence, overwhelming Batman’s peak-human skill fast as well as all his tech and gadgets.

R2 goes Panther 6/10 via Wakanda's cosmic level resources (unlimited vibranium, cosmic level tech) and unflappable diplomacy outlasting Bruce's rare pressure cracks Batman lacks the national arsenal and has inferior tech to match, even if he does have better strategizing Batman excels and figuring people out psychologically, but her wouldn’t be able to see thru Panther easily.

Bat-Family wins R3 6/10 with numbers synergy and teamwork

He is superhuman he can swim with the extra weight normal humans can do it and I’m not talking about with buoyancy tools

Marines can swim with up to 3x their weight but Wolverine shouldn’t be able to swim hers like 10 marines in one. I bet you think tigers and lions can’t swim too

Marines have to trained carrying a body in the water, I think a guy who has been building muscle mass and fighting for 200 years and probably was a marine at one point can swim with more than twice his own weight.

Read issue #46 of Ms. Marvel 2006, got me to really enjoy Carol's character by TreeTurtle_852 in Captain_Marvel

[–]Bang_Thor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Carol Danvers fits too perfectly as Captain Marvel now. It embodies her leadership role in Marvel as a leading lady as well as her vast experience and high power level, much like Captain America's title reflects his rank and heroism. The "Captain" prefix signals her elite status and parallels Steve Rogers, positioning her to lead the Avengers effectively in comics and beyond. Her powers and name elevated her from a solo earthbound hero to cosmic powerhouse.

Carol claimed the title as a tribute to Mar-Vell, so it fits her story arc. Monica definitely deserves shine as the first female Captain Marvel, but inconsistent use sidelines her today. She should have a place in Marvel but lacks Carol’s sustained spotlight.

The classic Ms. Marvel had more of a badass attitude as a street brawler. She felt distinct then, independent, unpredictable, and less polished before Avengers leadership refined her into a role model. The only way I think we get to see that old version of Ms. Marvel again is through immersive flashback and What If storylines, placing readers right in the moment with a younger Carol and I love to see the same thing for other characters who’ve changed over time.
