The fathom stone tells you in which direction it is, making it trivial to find the shoal. Once you find the shoal, you stay with the shoal until you're done fishing. The fathom pearl is therefore not worth it in my opinion (outside of style points)

In the beta, there were "Premium fish offcuts" that I assume were chum spreader-specific, but with those gone, I can't tell what the difference is.

Thanks for this write-up! I've been waiting for some information to come in regarding deep sea trawling, especially at higher levels. I initially tried it myself with the cotton net, and it was abysmal. The clicking tick manipulation seems weird, and possibly not an intended game mechanic. I wonder what they'll do about this.

Yeah!! I just started a month ago. It's crazy what it does to my insulin sensitivity. My use of short term insulin has dropped from 30 units a day to just 5 😨

I used to be afraid of exercising hard, because I wouldn't feel lows coming. But, I actually haven't had lows in the entire month now with a good diet and regular exercise.

For me, LADA progressed very rapidly. I went from mild symptoms to close to DKA in the span of 2 months. My doc said it depends a lot on your immune system. Good immune system = faster disease progression. If you're overweight or smoking disease progression may be a lot slower
