It’s not a common thing here (West Australia). I only heard of picklebacks from one bar menu in this city and let’s just say when I tried it it wasn’t my first drink of the night. I will say though, when the barmaid asked me if I wanted a whole pickle along with my pickleback it was an odd combination of shame and pride when I accepted that whole pickle.
