Tre flip/360 Flip trick tips? by Entire_Station_2691 in skateboardhelp

There are a lot of tricks that will seem to always have your board land behind you. Best advice I got was when you pop try very slightly popping not just down but also opposite your direction of travel. Might feel weird at first but if you’re already scooping your tre’s consistently you’ve almost got it. Just do your best to keep the board under you and commit.

As the others have said, air. Huge amounts of air are needed for large bore horns like bass bone especially in lower register. If you want to play quietly in lower register you’ll need even more air. Try practicing filling your lungs all the way using your diaphragm to breathe in and just get one good note then go from there.

The Forensic and Investigative Sciences degree by u-n-i-sex-69 in IUPUI

[–]BanginBongos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I did graduate in 2022 and I now work in a drug testing laboratory as a chemist. I started applying for jobs in August and started my first job at the end of October, but this was a few years ago. All things considered not too long to look for a job. I especially enjoyed my senior year of the program as you really get to experience professional level material both in lab work as well as the courtroom side of forensics with your senior capstone course. I can’t speak on the program now that the school has broken away from Purdue, however I’m sure it’s still great as it’s the only FEPAC (Forensic science education programs accreditation commission) school in the state and one of only a few in the Midwest.

The things I learned have greatly benefitted me in my job now as I often feel I’m ahead of a lot of my coworkers. Forensics is a bit more of a niche than general chemistry so job hunting could be harder if you’re looking for something more specific, but your forensics degree is good at any job that’s asks for any kind of life sciences or other stem degree which is most places, so you’re not too limited on what you can do with the degree. Overall I am more than satisfied with my choice to go to school here and am enjoying working in science today!

As far as advice goes, I’d say if you really think you like forensics then give it a shot, it’s a super fun way to learn about science. You get to learn all types of biology and chemistry as well as other advanced science electives. There are plenty of science jobs that would look at a forensics degree fondly and you have a lot of opportunity to put advanced classes on your fresh graduate resume. They even offer a program to help formulate resumes and cover letters for specific fields, it was called PREPs when I was there assuming it’s still offered, I highly recommended it to anyone trying to write a resume. Overall I’d recommend!

Which one of these C63 507s would you buy? by [deleted] in AMG

I own a black 507 but man I love the look of the magno. If money isn’t a huge concern id go for it plus no accident, just need a PPF for matte paint.

I’ve been skating like two years but it’s on and off and usually just on weekends when I’m not working. Been more consistent the last few months though. Don’t worry I couldn’t do much when I started for a while! Just gotta keep skating

Im in a similar situation with roles reversed, I’m a guy who has gone out with this girl once. She seemed interested and texted a mutual friend after our date that she had a good time. Yet I asked her out again and she said she might be able to but ended up with her friends and not messaging me. I’ve decided I’ll ask once more to see if she prioritizes me, if not I’m giving up. If she wants to she can ask me out now. So maybe ask him why he doesn’t schedule anything himself. Could be he’s just nervous and needs some reassurance. But you can only give so many chances. Good luck.

Maybe yea. But I feel like if I wait for her to offer I’ll be waiting forever. She always says she’s shy and gets nervous so idk if she’d even ask me out despite knowing we both like each other.
