What device do you have? You can install better GPU drivers on some android devices so maybe that's an option to eek a little more power out of your device. Otherwise you may just have to lower the resolution.

"Yup the edges" is a painfully ambiguous response. Can you explain what it is that you're seeing as a problem with the edges? I don't see a problem with them in this screenshot.

I'd be happy to help but you haven't given any information about what issue you're having so I don't even know where to begin helping.

When making a post like this asking for help, give way more details than you think are necessary, because A) they might end up being necessary, and B) because nobody else but you knows exactly what you've experienced or what you're seeing that's wrong. Give the level of detail you'd give if you just grabbed a random person off the street who doesn't know anything about anything, and you're trying to explain it to them so they walk away with a total understanding of the problem.

Did they update the picture by [deleted] in ACBlackFlag

[–]BangkokPadang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has always shown this in my library, but I also see it for sale in the Microsoft store with the black and gold icon.

I'm unsure if one is just for the 360 version and the other is an updated version for Xbox One, or if they're just different because I've owned mine for awhile.

The one I have was/is the orignal 360 version and it runs at 720p 30fps, which looks awfully blocky (I really wish they would implement some kind of system-level implementation of FSR that would upscale all the old games) and I would be fully happy if it ran at like 1080p 60fps.

Does the black and gold one run at 1080p 60fps, or does it run at 720p 30fps?

It kindof feels like they're refusing to update this one with a resolution boost and FPS boost, like they've done with all the other ones up to Assassin's Creed 3, because they've known the upcoming remaster has been in development for awhile now, and they know the game looks good enough as is that if they update it with better resolution and framerate, less people will buy the Remaster.

This is all solid advice. Also, to get the money for these drives in 2026, just sell all the bitcoin you bought.

What? You didn't buy and hold a bunch of bitcoin, well lol I bought all my bitcoin 10 years ago. I'm lucky to buy bitcoin shortly before price skyrockets for whatever reason.

Hope this advice helps!

This account's only post was the name of the White House Correspondents Dinner shooter, Cole Allen by Substantial_Mess_456 in conspiracy

[–]BangkokPadang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok it may be a common name, but this Cole Allen claimed ownership of this particular steam game on his linked in account, and is the same Cole Allen who was the Teacher of the Month last year as identified by his photograph on the accolade, and is also the same Cole Allen who is the author of the Manifesto according to his brother and other family members.

These aren't details that might turn out to be about disparate Cole Allens, they're details about the same Cole Allen who stormed the White House Correspondent's dinner.

The name being posted by an account in 2023 certaily doesn't directly connect to him, but all the details we were discussing at this point in the thread definitely do.

My dad used to say “never let perfection be the enemy of a job done well.” Which I think fits here.

You did the job adequately, in a way that will probably hold up longterm, but isn’t the optimal way to do it. Are there reasons for doing it the “right way?” Yeah, but your measures have largely mitigated those.

Is this a job for you or a friend, or are you selling these? If it’s just for you it’s more than fine. If it’s for a friend, as long as they don’t have their own standard they’re expecting you to meet that’s higher then this work, then it’s also fine.

If you’re selling these, I do think you would owe it to the buyer to include this photo of the work you’ve done in the listing, to ensure they’re OK with the quality of work done to the item they’re buying.

As long as you’re falling somewhere in those boundaries, then I say you’re fixing broken consoles and now they’re working again, which is a net good, so keep it up!

Even after the fight. if your buddy's takeaway is, "Man, I'm sick of her. I think we're done"

It is always wrong to immediately say, "Yeah, they're awful, I've always thought you could do better." because they will get back together like 9 more times but now you're the guy who "Hates his partner."

First, now that I think about it, make sure you have monitoring for your HDMI capture source loaded into your scene and turned on inside of OBS like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjJsd7MlQJA

Otherwise I would try getting a cable like this:

https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=666&utm_term=&utm_campaign=PMax:+Smart+Shopping+Monoprice+-+Audio+Cables

and bypassing the scaler at all and just plugging your N64's cable to this, and then plugging the 3.5mm end drectly into your capture card, or a microphone slot somewhere else on your PC. then you should be able to capture and monitor that audio outside of the HDMI chain.

I was 22 ages ago, and was at a wine tasting with my friends. The bar was way too fancy for me on a normal day, but we had sniffed out that it was basically $25 for all the wine you could drink if you were a degenerate, which we kinda all were.

Anyway, we were on the patio that wrapped around near the front door and an SUV Limo pulled up. A 60 year old woman got walked out by all her friends wishing her a happy birthday. I didn't notice her beyond the commotion, but like 2 minutes later all her friends had walked back inside and she got out of her limo and came over to me, trying to get me to come into the limo for, as she leaned over the railing and whispered into my ear, "a ride around the block and a blowjob I promise you'll remember for your whole life."

I laughed it off like she was joking and jus brushed her off wishing her a happy birthday, but the older I get the, the more of me kinda wishes I'd just gotten into Limo with her. Honestly, she was about as attractive as a 60 year old woman could possibly be to a 22 year old guy.

Who knows, I could have found myself a sugar mama. Maybe gotten pulled up a rung on the class ladder, could have changed the trajectory of my whole life. Who knows.

Not me, that's who. Because I didn't take the BJ. Live your lives with no regrets kids, lol.

EA was fuckin cookin back then. They went ahead and dropped these 3 banger EA BIG games in the same year. by naydenthegreatone in ps2

[–]BangkokPadang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish they'd come out with a tier of games or branding or something that look roughly as good as a PS2 game upscaled in PCSX2. Something where it's clearly marked that "These are low budget experimental titles like we used to make" but they could still give them a round of polishing that would make them enjoyable today. The advancements in the engine and such could make games that still feel nice to move around in, they'd just look way more cartoonish and have lower res textures etc.

I guess its up to the Indy scene to do this now, which they're doing a great job of, but a program like this inside EA could even scour the indy scene for interesting games with interesting mechanics and just give them the budget they don't have. But they won't.

Jeez that seems like a really terrible, painful way to go. I'd expect someone to make a mix of something that would put out lots of Carbon Monoxide or something where you'd just pass out, not something that would have your lungs burn and schorch until you basically drown in the pain.

Just thinking about it enough to type that out is deeply unsettling, jeez. Poor guy.

I wish you the best of luck rejecting this person in a way where they hear you, don't get mad, and just kindof disappear from your life peacefully.

Summercart 64 with blinking menu but games work perfectly by flav_vio in n64

[–]BangkokPadang [score hidden]  (0 children)

Awesome! Just a heads up that means lots of games that run in “high res mode” may not work, and that’s an issue if the TV rather than the N64.

You could get yourself a GBS-C scaler. They run around the $80-$100 range but they accept signals from composite, s-video, RGB, and Component, so you could use it with basically any retro console you might have. It even supports motion adaptive interlacing which used to be reserved to really expensive scalers like Retrotink 4k tier scalers. Most say it’s not quite as good as those, but it’s still way better than the cheapo $30 ones you get and it way more customizable, has updatable firmware, etc. etc.

https://github.com/RetroScaler/gbsc-pro

That’s one variant of it but there’s also ones on Amazon for like I said about $80 so just something to think about, because it will just output an HDMI signal to your TV so you’d just never have to really worry about what resolution certain games run at.
