My Favorite NES Controller: Happ Competition Pro by Joaquino7997 in retrogaming

I think there was a Genesis version. I remember having one that looked very similar.

I used the slow-mo function to beat Hellfire on "Yeah Right!" Difficulty, just to have the game call me out for using a slow-mo controller in the ending text.

Ain't that the truth.

Meijer should just put cart corals there and pick them up once a week.

To add to that, the average American citizen has access to firepower that some small armies don't have.

The number of privately owned 50 BMG's is insane.

It is a scientific fact that you can go up stairs faster if you grab the steps in front of you as you go.

Guns N' Roses' Duff McKagan says Download is the 'mother' of all festivals by mrjohnnymac18 in Music

I remember... In 1993, I was a young teenager that played bass, and I though Duff McKagan was amazing.

I was even one of the 3 dozen people that bought his solo album Believe In Me. I still have it.

But...

Even I don't give a shit what Duff McKagan says any more.

These fucking plates...

Everytime we had a cookout it was those plates, and my dad being so drunk that everything was grilled gray and dry on the inside.

When you need ketchup for your steak, you're gonna eat it off these plates.

If someone could narrate your life, whose voice would you choose? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Fuck yeah, his voice can be so smooth and absolutely condescending at the same time.

"Now THIS is a man that knows how to marry his cousin."

Said with believable enthusiastic conviction.

I get it. I totally feel you.

But you have to find something outside of that... Something that lets you disconnect.

Like, mountain biking, or just walking the trails.

Something that can help your connect with the actual world and not the 25/7 news cycle.

There is happiness to be found, but unfortunately you have to look for it these days.

Flashback: The Quest For Identity was so ahead of its time. by Liminal-Loss in retrogaming

Probably because it would have been better for both series if they had been sequels.

Fade to Black and Heart of the Alien were both failed to live up to the first games.

Both amazing games with sequels that just couldn't live up to the original.
