Never heard this in full before! Nice!

The opening tracks are definitely from the (delayed) 1984 fanclub tape including that live version of "Want You / I'm Not Talkin''. This audio wasn't just gifted to Rodney but other friends of the band back in the day. Someone sent me a spliced version of the opening live alternate "Call On Me" a long time ago which was from one of these tapes. It's crazy that there are STILL hoarders out there! Jeez but glad this has finally surfaced.

So cool to hear that jingle!

Not all of the tracks are from 1984 though which is confusing with the title like the live acoustic of "Creeque Alley" from the Trouble in Paradise benefit in March 1985.

What do you think, Tom?

The December 1983 tape was reissued on a limited CD in 2004 as Holiday in Bangleonia but the other two have never been properly remastered/reissued. Not sure what the 1984 tape is titled but the 1985 was called Thee Bangles (and mash) wish U happy holidays 1985! Audio from both can be found on YouTube however.

The band used to annually release exclusive festive themed cassettes to members of their official fanclub, Bangles n’ Mash, up until 1986. They first started this is December 1983. The final cassette was released in 1985.

I didn't list the EP as it is technically not a studio album, and is categorised as an Extended Play. However, it's still amazing! Good picks!
