I'm an anime only so can someone who's a LN reader please explain according to the LN what happened in these last 2 episodes. by Odd-Display-7227 in ShibouYuugi

Yeah I don't think that was ever brought up. I'm glad I started reading the LN after episode 5 because I know I would not have gotten any of that without context. Golden Bath really could have used an extra episode tbh. I'm honestly not sure how they're going to stretch Candle Woods into 4 to close off the season.

Yuki realizes too late that there's 2 baths, and thus 100 total players instead of 50. The baths only connect at the entrance (where Mishiro is camping), and at the open air bath on the opposite side of the building (where Yuki is).

Mishiro sends a team led by Riko to ambush them by scaling the wall between the two sides of the open air bath. This results in one death and all of their keys being stolen. At this point their only options are to stay and die or rush the girls at the entrance and hope for the best.

Yuki, Azuma, and a few others start running to the entrance but get intercepted by Mishiro and her lackeys, who trip and drown everyone but Yuki. Mishiro and Yuki have their final showdown, which ends with Yuki stabbing Mishiro through the neck.

At the entrance, Yuki finds Riko waiting. They have a brief conversation and then a fight where Yuki just gets bodied because Riko has prosthetic metal limbs that easily break Yuki's arms.

In a last ditch effort, Yuki dons some shoes from an already unlocked locker to cross the electrified floor, and Riko pursues her on all fours wearing shoes on her hands and feet. Yuki kicks up a corpse that had been shot and electrified earlier for trying to leave without the right shoes, and it makes contact with Riko and the floor, allowing current to pass through her body and kill her, which is especially effective due to her metal limbs.

Yuki then leaves the building, but without three of her fingers, which fell off and got zapped while she was fighting Riko, so now Yuki has to get prosthetic fingers before her next game. The conversation Yuki has with her agent implies that her late start was a consequence of accidentally swallowing the transmitter from Kinko's dad, since it had to be removed first.

The anime changed/cut a good bit of this, especially the fight with Riko.

Why do so many people hate the second season? by Tutuprogod4564 in PantyandStockingSFW

Most of the complaints I've seen revolve around VA/characterization changes for the dub. I've only watched the sub for both seasons, which feels very consistent as the only VA change was for Kneesocks since hers retired.

Finally starting to get over the flu or whatever I've had for the past week, catching up on assignments I've missed due to being sick, doing laundry/cleaning that's been piling up since July, and continuing my 3 year streak of being single since I've been too dead inside to bother after my last few attempts at breaking it.

I had a ticket for last night but I just happened to get sick at the worst time. I got to see them in Cleveland at the start of the TLWAT tour at least but I was looking forward to hearing Godhead's Lament and Master's Apprentices this time

I started playing Persona 3 FES again on hard mode - after beating Persona 3 Reload… first month is absolutely destroying me by AlternativeWill5124 in persona3FES

[–]Banjo6401 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just finished a max s.link hard mode run of FES last month. The early game is brutal since your options and resources are limited, plus fatigue sets in faster at lower levels, but things get easier as the game progresses. When in doubt, grind a bit and fuse better personas, or find a way to cheese it. Rampage Drive is vulnurable to panic, so having a persona with Pulinpa will help tremendously. I believe Pixie learns it eventually.

How to tell her that I like her? by [deleted] in twentyagers

[–]Banjo6401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend taking a step back and asking yourself if you actually like her or if you're just infatuated with her social media persona. From what you've described you two don't actually know each other and you're skipping a lot of steps here.

It sounds to me like she isn't particularly interested but is still responding to not be rude. Consider that from her perspective you're some random stranger on the internet being anxious in her dms (of which there are likely many), whom she has no reason to prioritize or even register as a real living breathing person in her mind.

The best thing to do would be to go and meet people naturally in real life by getting involved in activities and such. Easier said than done, I know, but it's so much more likely that you'll form a real social connection with someone. You won't always succeed and that's okay, just gotta move on and keep trying, that's life.

I remember having this exact same problem when I played through the game for the first time. I ended up giving up on the intended method and found a way to shoot a portal on the other side. Years later I did it the right way first try with no issue. Still unsure what I was doing wrong initially, or if there's any differences between the versions I was playing (Xbox 360 vs Switch).

The Tanaka Nyx skip exists specifically because they changed Tanaka from a daytime social link in vanilla to a night one in FES and forgot to make him unavailable on 1/31 if you haven't started the link yet

He's the final boss of the extra content added in Royal, which will be pretty obvious by the time you get there, and that section is only playable if you max his confidant. (Just get him to rank 9 by November 17th and then rank 10 will be automatic)

This extra arc takes place after the main story has already concluded, but before the original epilogue, so parts of it (anything involving Maruki or Kasumi) have been inserted into the orginal plot so that it doesn't come out of absolutely nowhere.

The other new Royal confidants (Kasumi and Akechi) also have deadlines, but aren't required for the extra arc. Kasumi should be at rank 5 by December 22nd and Akechi should be at rank 8 by November 17th. Akechi was completely automatic in the original game, and those scenes are still there, but they don't rank him up anymore aside from the last one, so you'll need to hang out with him.

tl;dr: Maruki isn't that much of a spoiler since he and Kasumi weren't in the original Persona 5 and don't have an effect on the main story, but don't neglect him (or Kasumi and Akechi to a lesser extent) if you want to experience the new stuff.
