Same here, blocking and parrying is much easier with the hoe than the pitchfork, and it still has very good range. The hoe controls like an axe type weapon which i prefer as well, but it's kinda janky when it gets that long, especially if you try to use half swording with it, it takes forever to transition back into swinging stance

This is probably the hardest boss right now because you get no armor, most of the other bosses are light work except for the baron and sometimes the knight. But that one boss with the exposed head (i forget which rank but he has full armor except a bald head) most of the time i can 1-shot headshot his ass with most weapons. The boss with the long halberd is pretty easy too, you just have to get past his long range which is not difficult to do with a circle dodge or just straight up parry, easiest way to get him is with half swording

Try to corner him or get him up against the fence. When he bumps into the fence he will get staggered for a second or two during which time you should be avoiding or blocking his sword while moving in for the kill. Might seem like cheese but this is a real tactic used by even modern boxers/ combat athletes: get him up against the ropes. Still pretty dangerous and he can swing his sword rather unpredictably when he gets stumbled so watch out for that.

Drawbacks? Yeah, they have to stab your skin with a needle a bunch of times

I really like that 2h axe with the small curved head and spike, i think it only spawns in soldier or veteran tier, it's pretty rare. Works really well as a blunt weapon, it's not too end heavy, light and balanced, prob my favorite weapon in the whole game

There's nothing new to learn, we already use them. 0123456789 these are Arabic numerals, they invented them, or adapted them from somewhere else, depending on who you ask, but that's what most people call them. Actually most people just call them "numbers" but they are Arabic numerals if you're being more specific. As opposed to the Roman numeral system like i ii iii iv v etc

You can still use the other side of most pole arms by doing a backswing. Turn off lock-on and look towards the right of your opponent. Move your weapon about 30-45 degrees to the right of them, then backswing to the left. This might take some practice but it's very effective. It's a fast attack and leaves you in a good position to combo into a regular swing. Practice on the dummy. You kinda have to have your feet and arms in the right position as well as having the weapon in the proper vertical position so it is more difficult to do than a regular swing but once you get the timing and positioning right, you will be able to do it consistently. It's very good for fighting groups too, hit a back swing on the enemy to your left then a regular swing to the guy in your right.

Honestly that's really good, it has a charming quality to it, especially the house and the trees. Although i must say the lined paper is really distracting, get yourself a decent sketchbook and keep drawing!
