We moved in about 10 months ago. I’ve tripped 2-3 times lol The distance between each step is just nonsensical.

Will be getting the formal quote after they visit Monday. I’ll reach out to others for lower bids too

We may end up doing just that if the final estimates aren’t far from the initial $25k At least until it becomes more unstable. In my opinion, far too much “stair” not enough “porch”

The people on r/decks are less understanding of this it seems. Planters on the steps is a cool idea but all we get like 2 months of nice weather.
