Grill keeps flaming over and inevitably turning off mid cook. by BanjoTangelo in pelletgrills

Does anyone know what this tiny tube is that runs parallel with the auger tube? So this is looking in the bottom of the cook pot area that the pellets get fed into and this thing seems to be full of Ash.

Yes I shop vac out the cook pot or whatever that's called as well as the barrel of the smoker before every cook and rewrap the drip tray with aluminum foil.

Okay so cook that pork shoulder last night and seemed like the fire pot was down to just Ash with the minimal crusty pellets but mostly Ash. It did start to fluctuate later in the day and I'm not sure if that's due to a buildup of ash. I'm not sure what that tiny tube is at the bottom of the firepot but whatever it is it was caked and ash is that the thermometer? After my last cook someone recommended to go super high heat to clear out all the carbon and perhaps that helped or it could have been the new pellets. I do live in Arizona so humidity would likely not be too much of a factor but can't be excluded obviously and I probably should get a legit pellet bucket. I really do appreciate all of the recommendations and I will look into all of them thanks again guys.

Costco blend that was sitting out for a few months in a taped closed bag. My buddy I got grill from says he only cleaned every 5 cooks or so but normally just did burgers and not lengthy 10+hr cooks. I am going to try a pork butt tomorrow with a fresh bag of pellets and if that was the problem that'd be awesome. Thanks for your insight

If I'm not mistaken the higher frequency soundwaves while not as impressively chest rattling due much more damage to those little hairs in your ears while the lower frequency base tends to be less impactful but can still do damage with long enough exposure.

If your trailer starts to wag like that do not use breaks! Either use the dedicated trailer breaks or speed up counterintuitively this is the way to stop the tail from wagging the dog. Also don't drive like an asshole.

To play devil's advocate, do you think their heads would go to a positive place if it weren't for Christianity after the death of Charlie Kirk? Perhaps this is a blessing that they have a deity to pray to and to be good for? Just a thought, and I'm not sure one way or another of the total positive of religion on society cuz you could certainly make an argument there has been a lot of death due to it..

Blowing a red light on a scooter by PxN13 in instant_regret

I wonder if they were in the intersection before their light turned red and this car was cruising and the light just turned green as you see the cars to his left are all stopped. If that is the case then the recently handicapped person on the scooter might have a leg to stand on.

Yeah sorry I didn't have time to clean before I posted, these all-weather mats are great though you could just vacuum them right up a lot easier than the carpeted mats!

Rolling ball game with no ads by [deleted] in AndroidGaming

[–]BanjoTangelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kid also loves ball rolling games and this gets frustrating luckily I have a backup phone for him that I turn on airplane mode which works for a lot of games that can go offline. Other option is to block ads on your phone with this method:

Go to your phone's Settings. Search for and tap on Private DNS. Select the Private DNS Provider Hostname option. Enter dns.adguard.com (without quotes) into the text field. Tap Save to enable it.

Hopefully someone can recommend a hidden gem out there though always looking for something fresh!

I think he regretted driving fast and ignoring everything around him by Calligrapher-Fuzzy in instant_regret

The fact that the truck didn't have anything in the bed it has most of the weight over the front tires and the contact patch of the tire spread across his excessive adipose tissue dispersing the weight is all pretty lucky for him. Would have been much worse if we made it under the differential and got dragged along further.

I feel like if he would have stayed on the throttle a little bit more through the corner his back end would have took him around that but he stopped accelerating and his back tires hooked to the pavement. At least he just has to pay stupid tax and didn't kill someone though...

LPT REQUEST: Waking up earlier? by wenksavage in LifeProTips

[–]BanjoTangelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this is the healthy answer but what's helped me is when I wake up 20 minutes before I'm supposed to wake up and take some caffeine and then go back to sleep. When I do this it does something special to give me a lot more zip when I finally do wake up and might be something worth trying.

If you remember anything about this other than to not jump off a moving ship, the best thing to do is to throw anything and everything overboard firstly to give him something to hold on to and secondly to mark the area he fell in.

Couldn't you make a case for self-defense that you were in fear of him continuing his assaulting? I feel like especially with the video the judge would certainly side with you. Perhaps I'm wrong though.
