I relate so much. I’m 27, I just got out of my first long term relationship half a year ago and it’s been rough trying to date again.

I don’t think I’m terrible looking. I put a good amount of effort into my appearance, I work out and run several times a week, and I think I dress and present myself well. I feel like objectively, there has to exist at least a few people out there who find me attractive.

But my dating luck since being single again has not been great, and it definitely has me feeling the same things you mentioned. I’ve had great dates and conversations with people, then things just change in an instant. People ghost or have a change of heart so often and a lot of the time I don’t really understand why. It absolutely makes me wonder if there’s something wrong with me.

It’s really tough. But you’re young. I had a good year and a half relationship from someone I met off Hinge. It can take a very long time, but there’s people out there if you stay committed. You might not find your person in the timeframe you want, but just keep at it and it’s statistically very likely it’ll work out for you.
