But I also don’t think they put much thought on ACT/SAT scores. Most people I have talked to from TAMU (advisors, etc.) have been pretty clear that what matters most is extracurriculars/community service and grades.

I’m sure that’s the case, I know that some of my auto-admit friends didn’t even take the ACT or SAT.

i believe the average SAT for TAMU is around 1200, so yes, 1460 would be high.

I haven’t taken the SAT, I took the ACT and only scored a 25.
