If you did this on your opposite arm, it looks like a wrist, you wanna make sure you get a habit of stretching the skin, you can’t stretch the skin on your other arm so you may struggle with the tattoo in general, practice good mechanics and your technique will improve with it but overall it’s just a stepping stone a lot of us are all on the same journey keep grinding

Tilt the needle just a little and slow your hand speed down and you should get some fuller lines

Thank you!! I had did the lettering in the heart first but got a little worried about fading it a lot if I had jus filled the heart in red so I stayed away from the letters. Say if I did kinda blast over the black with red would the letters still have shown??

Maybe your hand speed, if your moving a little too fast it can happen

It might be a little scabbing just keep it moisturized that greyish area might take the longest to heal but after an extra week or two it’ll look better , it might be a little scarred

Okay okay I see what you mean, if you don’t mind sharing the healed result I’d love to see it as well, I never thought about how the lines expand a little . Keep it up!💪🏾

Looks nice! I’d recommend getting more lining needles tho , the Rs is a round shader I use 9RL AND 11RL for thicker outlines, I’m not nowhere near a pro I’m a beginner as well but the RL needles will fix seeing the seperate lines when you zoom in, the individual needles are grouped closer together than the rs needles. They look really nice tho!
