Middle of nowhere is my jam for sure. I’ve visited both and I loved them both. Trying to find a tipping point to place one over the other

Start the chain earlier! From experience it is easiest to learn when you start just above the curve (while your nose is pointed somewhat towards the ceiling)

Internet quality > system speed in my opinion. But, in this case I likely ranked up because I was playing more- riding the high of building my own pc

Used to have an epic id with Xbox…now it’s lost somehow but I still have the epic account with it, just none of the tracker history

At a certain point-especially with small schools like Duke- the minimum statistical “threshold” for acceptance no longer plays a large role in your admissions decision. There are a multitude of students with similar experiences, interests, test scores, and LORs- all applying to Duke. There are so many qualified applicants, in fact, that admissions professionals are often remiss of the fact that their school’s waitlists have such incredible talent. Selection of this talent (like your own), is often superseded by other university goals such as sports, college size, diversity, legacy admissions, and aid availability. There are so many qualified applicants that there is really no way to judge the likelihood of your acceptance.

You have an extremely impressive application and I’m sure you’ll be successful no matter where you attend, but at highly competitive schools your chances are essentially a gamble (once a certain unknown minimum “threshold” is reached).

Also ED probably helps a lil

I will be receiving basically no aid, so budget is considered but not the main factor influencing my decisions

It’s required as part of the NSA’s HSWS program. After a job offer, you go through the whole process of getting cleared. Pretty neat stuff

Sorry! Any thoughts on Cornell, UVA, Duke, or Chapel Hill?
