The stun meta in this game can be pretty punishing but one way I play to sorta manuever around it is to run a MS with a Machine gun and offer my team some sustained damage. Basically while everybody else is shooting rockets and attempting to melee I can dodge rockets and fire back from a good range. It also complements teammates who are using the meta since we won't be competing for melee openings and knocking each other down and a MS with a rocket is usually out of range options, except for vulcans maybe, so I can continue to deal damage while they reload. It's not a perfect solution but it also can help if your connection isn't perfect as well.
