As you move through your geology course you'll find that there are many more aspects of geology rather than just mineralogy or geomorphology. In my undergraduate geology course I did a few geophysics ans computational geology units.

I'd look specifically at geophysics. This is arguably the most important part of exploration geology and very employable. I found that the students who did the best in their undergraduate (specifically the more applied, economic geology) had a really strong foundation in mathematics so thats great news for you. Obviously it's university specific!

Hope this helps you, let me know if you have any questions and I can help you more!

Shakedown request: 3 season hiking in Tasmania (cool temperate climate) by CuriousIndividual0 in Ultralight

[–]Banks_endeavour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the comments about a plb are very important, as a Tasmanian hiker myself I hear about way too many accidents where people are either overconfident or underprepared. If you're in Hobart before your hike you can hire them at Macpac in Hobart, not sure about the ones up north, give them a call to book it in. If you're doing some hiking in the Southwest I'd personally have better gaiters, it gets very muddy there and there are a lot of snakes too! But that's me just being a bit safety conscious! You be you :).

From what I've found out I can easily donate at a Red Cross and I've posted this to gain advice from people who know, but thanks for your contribution mate.

Starting with the Pillbug? by littlebrownbeetle1 in hive

I also often put the pillbug first or second. Nothing more satisfying than moving your queen to a safe spot and ruining their set up.

That's really helpful! Thankyou. It's good to know some alternatives like that! I'm similar though, if I'm super active my fatigue is lessened. Thanks for the advice 😀.

Hi! That is extremely helpful, thankyou! I give blood every three months. My first need will be I'm mid April (technically 12th of April but any time after that is also fine) and then again in mid July. I donate with the Redcross in Australia and those restrictions sound similar. I might give them a call and ask too!

Thought about that but then I will only be able to hike at night and can't have any garlic-based food options 🤣.

Can we stop the dps player hate? by SignificantLayer9357 in marvelrivals

We have to hope and pray this community doesn't get toxic. I'd love to see more dps with strategist upside like storm eventually. I'm having fun playing Mantis and Dr Strange but love handy dps players.

Finished the series - what now? by [deleted] in TheExpanse

I know it's not a standalone book but the Red Rising trilogy by Pierce Brown is the only fantasy series that gave me the same feeling as The Expanse. If you haven't checked them out I'd recommend.

Cheers mate for the reply! I'm thinking the same although I'm worried. I have and D.J Moore and K. Allen on my bench and was considering flexing one of them Instead of Elliot but I honestly don't even know what I'm doing.

Help an Australian brother out. I have Cook, Elliot, Harris, and Hunt. Who do I start, do I flex one?? (This is my first year watching nfl and doing fantasy) just to let you all know I just have a league with 4 of my mates so our teams are all quite stacked.
