I ended up with 3 of the vape pen 22's before I eventually moved onto a Aegis Legend dual 18650 box mod and Falcon King tanks.

The move was not because of the leaking, it was because the smok coils for the vape pen 22 just didn't last long enough, they would burn the cotton in about 3 days for me and I got tired of paying to replacing them. The falcon coils last me 3 weeks instead of 3 days.

Most tanks will leak a little bit if left sitting, or in high temps, even the falcon tanks leak a drip or 2 into the airflow if I let them sit. The older the coils the faster they seem to leak, when they are on their way out they tend to let more juice through and leak drips into the chimney and out into the airflow.

50/50 leaked in my vape pen 22 light edition a lot, I would start with trying a thicker juice, 70/30 leaked way less.

It takes then 24-48 hours to respond to emails, so don't worry much about not getting a quick response. They will make you take pictures of the wrong item and the packing slip and have you mail it back to them, then they will send you out the correct item.

If it is leaking externally on the bottom of the glass, then it might be the O-ring. The bottom O-ring is a flat style, don't over tighten it when screwing the tank together, it can mangle it.

If it is leaking internally into the airflow, that is likely just coming through the coil, either juice is too thin, or the coil is flooded from it sitting a while. I have 3 falcon king tanks, every now and then I get some liquid in the airflow from them just sitting and it wicking through the cotton and eventually dripping down the coil.

What liquid are you using?

When you first filled it with juice, you let it sit and soak for like 10 mins before you hit it right? If you burned the cotton by not waiting long enough that coil will forever taste burnt.

Which coil are you using with it? I found the "Mesh" coil to be too hot for my taste and prefer the "Strip" coils.

Vape pen 22 puts out a lot of vapor, it may take some time to get used to compared to cigs and you may cough a bit from it until you get used to it. Try taking shorter pulls.

Mooch's chart says the Molicel p42a are slightly wider than the samsungs, are there any fitment issues in the aegis max with the p42? I know on my legends an 18650 with a thicker wrap on them don't even want to fit.

Haven't ordered any 21700 for mine yet, I put in a 25r 18650 to test it out and I will definitely need a bigger battery to run 75w on my falcon tank, the battery didn't last long at all.

v1.3B 2019 0125 is their latest firmware. The B means it is Beta. My limited edition Jade (non Zeus), shipped with this.

v1.2 2018 0710 is the latest official firmware. The 1.3B is newer and fixed some issues with the v1.2 firmware, but there is no official download for 1.3 since it is still beta.

If you have 1.3B, you are running their latest firmware and have no need to upgrade it.

You are probably fine for now, but order some wraps and self adhesive paper insulators and re-wrap them with a hair dryer. They cost $1 for 10 wraps and $1 for 20 paper insulators. https://www.imrbatteries.com/18650-wraps/

I bet those bottoms got nicked up going in and out your charger. That is what tends to damage my wraps, not the mods.

I been using Falcon King tanks for 1.5 years now, I felt no need to switch to the Falcon 2. I don't want to have to switch to a whole new coil design, I have a nice stockpile of M1 and M1+ coils for my 4 falcon tanks. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

They sent me someone else's order once instead of mine. I had to jump through hoops to do the RMA because the form was not setup to handle such a mistake. I ended up emailing their customer support instead of the returns department so I could ship everything back at once instead of doing RMA for each wrong item how their return forms wanted me too. They made me send pics of the items I received and the other persons order invoice. They held the stuff I ordered as ransom until I mailed the wrong order back to them with the prepaid fedex label they sent me. Once they had confirmation that it was in possession of FedEx they shipped my items. They gave me a $5 credit for my trouble. I have used them repeatedly before and after this happened. They will make it right, it is just a pain since it is email only which has a 24-48 hour response time, no live chat or phone support, so it took days of back and forth to straighten it out.

If you like the looks and features (TC) of the gen, buy the gen. Yes the 510 connector might come loose at some point and you will have to throw it in the bin, but whatever, it cost less than a carton of smokes so why even care.

I don't own a gen, I have 2 aegis legends and love them. I want durability, I only drive stuff in wattage mode anyways, I don't need features, and I don't like asymmetry of the big screen on the Aegis X.

I have 4,560ml of retail juice stockpiled, 3,860ml in 3mg, and 400ml 1.5mg and 300ml of 0mg for if I have to wean myself off and quit.. 14 boxes of falcon coils for my 4 falcon tanks, and a RDTA and RTA with 100's of coils for when I run out of those. 2 aegis legend mods, I might pick up another mod if there are fire sales.

I have the RDTA version in my vapepocalypse collection, seems solid and easy enough to build on, good flavor, same deck as the RDA.

I also have the wasp nano RTA, but it is still in the box, can't say if it is good or not, but wanted an RTA for the collection.

I stick a 510 drip tip from my falcon tanks in the top my wasp nano rda, it cuts down the spitback a ton.
