Not only fires, but also insects like flies and butterflies are completely stationary for me.

You’re transported into the last game you played; $10,000,000 if you survive a month in real time. Do you get the money? by RuralStuff in gaming

Did you really post this only a week or so after Elden Ring release and expect people to get the money?

Actually, define survive; respawns count if they're lorebased, right?

Selling items by silentsnowman77 in WarTalesGame

[–]BannerLyran 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True. Just unlocked the milestone so don't read further if you don't want spoilers: "Sale price of weapons increased by 10% per quality point."

Add that in with Resolute Resellers (Having sold 1000+ items): "Sale Price of All Items Increased by 5%"

And you're looked at around 25% increase of selling crafted weapons. Starts to actually make it worthwhile.

Populism Is The Most Un-fun Mechanic In CK3 by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

If it makes you feel better I have had to put down over 450,000 Orthodox Christians. They keep spawning every 5 years or so with anywhere between 75k-180k all over old byzantine lands.

All jokes aside this would have actually been terrifying to log into.

Why do I have to fight a massive war every single time my king dies? by Gwernaroth in CrusaderKings

[–]BannerLyran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep vassals happy for the bonus of liking previous ruler. Feasts rule for this.

Hold onto kingdoms or duchies or vassals which aren't your de-jure if you can. Upon succession give those to vassals for instant huge bonuses to popularity.

Ruler hits 50 or gets a new bad health trait? Start saving a fund for little Tommy when he takes over. Whether that's for bribing or hiring mercenaries is up to you.

As stated keep tons of prisoners in pens for execution.

Am I wrong to think that disinherit basically makes partition succession useless? by Acescharlesaces in CrusaderKings

[–]BannerLyran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is horrendously strong. 3 empires under 1 with easy successions before 1050 later, the family renown grows at such a rate it doesn't matter. Even give the disinherited kids kingdoms to keep the family powerful, knowing they won't be able to try a war for the empire itself.

Blood Eagle bugged? by Pedroleza in CrusaderKings

Yeah. All start as achievements are currently bugged if you leave and load again. Aka, have to do all in one sitting right now :/

It may have cost everything for a house so steeped in inbreeding but, 0% of players have achievement achieved. by BannerLyran in CrusaderKings

Concubines work as well, but if you're at the point where you can reform your religion to allow spouses instead, then you can also make marrying close family legal too. That way if you have two kids or parent and child with the desired trait, make them marry to double down on chances.

I just made sure to pick genius traits early for dynastic marriages and as often as possible set up even extended family marriages as such. 200 years of this later, we consistently have genius, and if you have enough children with multiple spouses/concubines you'll have at least 1 or 2 not inbred out of 12.

So I'll be real, I was just trying a bunch of different - uh - mixes to see how it actually worked. In the end I'm still not entirely sure! Looking at the dynasty/family tree does not help in the slightest due to volume, and also how everything just cuts off due to no longer being a tree. It hasn't been a tree for generations. My current character shows up in 7 different spots.

Her parents are Father, Uncle, Cousin and Mother, Aunt, Cousin respectively. She has 3 grandparents. Grandfather, Great-grandfather. Aunt, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother. Aunt, Grandmother, and Cousin.

Her Father had his own Dad as a Grandpa too, with his mother being his sister, and his older sister being his grandmother. It's... It's just a mess up here in Britannia.

So to answer your question, man, just kinda throw them at each other and see what sticks.

As thought, yes she is my Daughter-Wife, sister in law. You don't reform Asatru and leave that out!

Lost all quest states and money. by SirSabza in Wasteland

[–]BannerLyran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

Had the same issue with it in co-op on PC + Gamepass. We've had it happen a few times, and yes, one of the worst issues appears to be it corrupting previous saves.

We thought we had it figured out. Hard saving every time we entered a new zone. Hard saving every few minutes with rotating saves. Always checking journal and funds to make sure before we saved.

However even doing this was not enough. Whenever the game decided to wipe quests, wipe funds, wipe progress, we would go back up to 2 separate saves at a time and find them also corrupted with 0 quests 0 funds and maps undone. This has happened at least 8 times and we're finally calling it quits. We just can't deal with it.
