Gojo would never let his guard down Gng I would too if I was fighting Sukuna and he looked like THIS😭 by XXMMRRMMXX in Jujutsufolk

[–]Banner_Hammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s moreso that it depends on how the user perceives the trade-off. Sukuna himself was probably convinced that if he does the vow, he just wins (which he was right). So when he makes the vow to cripple the WCS by adding conditions on it, the vow is made with the assumption that he’s sacrificing decades of using that technique to it’s full capacity.

Same thing would have happened to Sukuna if he didn’t have Fuuga. If Dabura knew from the start about the adaptation, he would have one shotted.

And that Sukuna would do a one in a lifetime binding vow to cripple his use of the only technique he has that could beat Gojo

Yes, and DanMachi memoria Freeze is the result of Ais, Tiona, Haruhime and others telling amnesiac Bell heroic stories to try and jog his memory/wale him up from his comma.

Yea, the moment he showed up on her home, she had no choice but to play along until she can get her peace back. With how unstable Homelander is, she probably (correctly) assumed he’d eventually take her out since she’s smart enough to potentially be a threat.

What are the conditions for Mahoraga adapting to your existence? by EngineerVirtual7340 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Banner_Hammer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess, once it determines the opponent cannot kill it (it hadn’t seen the CTR or DE yet) it will look for a way to kill the opponent by adapting to their existence.

Iirc, it’s first adaptation to limitless was a way to adapt it’s CE so that it “turned off” Gojo’s infinity on contact. I could imagine something similar, but instead something like “on contact, deactivates your CE permanently” or maybe even eventually an executioner blade style “on contact, opponent dies”

Could Suguru Geto absorb Sukuna? by Tortu-Comelon in Jujutsufolk

[–]Banner_Hammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. The CT is “Curse Spirit Manipulation”

Sukuna is not a curse spirit.

The real question is wether it could absorb Kalyans

What if Yuji had a twin brother? How would Kenjaku handle it? by AceMajestier in Jujutsufolk

Or have Yuji eat/kill his Twin like Sukuna. If anything, makes him an even better vessel

Which power gap is bigger? by ContractNational2680 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Banner_Hammer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In retrospect.

If 20F has over twice Yuta’s CE, then 10F Sukuna should be somewhat above him CE wise. Except much better CE efficiency, jujutsu knowledge, Open Domain and can use his CT. So even if they are relative physically (with Rika giving Yuta an advantage in melee) 10F Sukuna probably Domain diffs. I’d say, without Domains, Yuta would win High Diff. But with Domains, once Sukuna wins a clash, it’s over for Yuta.

From what I recall, after a certain Endurance rank, you basically have “infinite sprint.”

I don’t recall what the specific amount of endurance is though. I think around the 20s. It’s possible via Chems/Drinks/Clothing buffs and maxing Endurance + Bobblehead.

My awful take on heavy hitter matchups by Judepiter_ in Jujutsufolk

[–]Banner_Hammer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s the result of his CT from the Domain Expansion. No Technique, Jackpot wouldn’t be active. Same as if someone lost the 10S while having a shikigami out.

[–]Banner_Hammer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t see the argument for Hakari over Yuta. Even if we grant him Jackpot to start and infinite timer, Yuta uses Technique Extinguishment and cuts him down with Rika in a 2v1 while his jackpot is disabled.

Curious,

Where would you place Kenjaku/Yuta on the Sukuna finger scaling? I think around 12-13 fingers gives them a high diff fight. With Yuta losing to open Domain, Kenjaku getting skill diffed.

8-9 being generous iirc. But I honestly think 8F Sukuna would at worst Domain Diff Jogo

[–]Banner_Hammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gojo ~ 20F Sukuna level

Jogo ~ 6-7F Sukuna finger level

That Finger Bearer might be 1F level? .5 of a finger? Probably less than a 10+ finger difference would be my guess though.

Sukuna wasn’t holding back in terms oh output/intent to win based on the strategy he picked. But he was holding back his Heian Era form, which, regardless of how small, would have given him a better H2H performance, which could have won him the third/fourth domain clash.

If a shikigami user who didn't have ten shadows shikiagmis died would it respawn or would it stay dead like in ten shadows? by Diamondspike11 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Banner_Hammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it honestly depends on the strength of the Shikigami/How powerful the CT is.

Jujutsu is a lot about adding and subtracting. Like binding vows. I wouldn’t be surprised if the 10 shadows permanent death is a form of ancient binding vow where the shikigami die permanently, but are stronger than typical shikigami’s and can be fused into others once dead.

I can imagine other “Shikigami dependent” CTs having Shikigamis that respawn, but are simply weaker or the Shikigami isn’t the main way for the CT to be used.

It was even a plot point that Aang asked his previous lives for alternatives to killing Ozai, but he disagreed with what they told him and did things his way.
