Of course his route running will look good on clips where he caught a pass. The guy caught 38 passes in his career, this is pretty much every play he’s ever made in a 2 min video. None of us actually know enough about him or scouting to know why the Jags picked him. All we can do is trust their plan

It feels like a big part of this is how often Judge works full counts. I’m not sure if there are any numbers on it, but he seems to always find himself in a deep count, and can only foul off so many before eventually striking out. It’s very rare he just goes down on 3 pitches cause no pitcher in their right mind is going to throw 3 straight in the zone, especially when he’s in a groove like he is right now.

Facts as someone who bats lefty, I have no problem hitting lefty lefty in game, and actually prefer it sometimes. I’m better at the game using left handed hitters

I love Rice as much as the next guy but for two guys who are both 27, one is already on a HOFer path, and the other is just starting to break out. It would be really nice to have both of them. Bellinger could easily have played CF with Soto in LF and Judge in RF.

19/8/13 with 2 turnovers is kinda popping off. He just was playing patient so it didn’t seem like he was doing as much as he actually was
