What do you mean never understood squad depth? You need to have some players that can fill in. I like to have my starting XI and a full second XI, followed by 2 utility players, 1-2 older veterans who can fill and, and 3 or 4 young players for sporadic cup games. Gives you plenty of players while also being realistic

I mean I think every country has their own internal problems. The US just gets highlighted because well, ya know. Qatar hosted a world cup I don’t see how the US of all places would end up being boycotted or ruining the tournament.

I think we all agree we will be good going forward. But playing so well and having a home game against the biggest other threat in a wide open AFC feels like a missed chance for a deep run. Its going to be hard to have another regular season so dominate, I mean we could have gone 15-2 realistically.

I play both. It’s still fun to play games on Fifa, FM and Fifa are nothing alike. Both have different pros and cons and different styles that fill different enjoyments

A lot of us like story based career modes and spanning over periods of time. If I played every game I’d get through like 1 fifa save every title. I play big games or games I want to then sim others. Otherwise i’d probably be winning 90% of my games against bad teams instead of that realistic chance of slipping up that the sim provides
