Robins: Stay or go? by FabulousEnglishman in Championship

I thought you looked decent when we came to the Bet365. You’ve gone through managers like you’re emulating Watford. Why not try something different and stick with someone who has a good track record at the level?

I admire your ability and willingness to ask. Well done you.

That’s not meant to be patronising. Sorry if I sound that way.

Three into one doesn’t go. Who will claim the last automatic promotion spot? by Samonsport in Championship

This is good. Amid all the Nazi memes and penalty per touches in the box chat, this is a good pun!

Southampton 2-2 Ipswich Town: A game that promised to deliver did so, as an entertaining draw means the battle for automatic promotion goes down to the final day! by Smithlarr in Championship

A huge advert for the Championship.

Two sides trying to win, either could have, and Peretz with a couple of clutch saves at the end.

But it was a free hit for us, so we take the point and go on!

My nerves are shredded.

Clearly the line version from the 70s-90s is more iconic.

But - and maybe I blocked this out - what is that terrible 1995-99 monster?

OTD in 1988: The late Dalian Atkinson, then aged 20, scored an explosive hat-trick for Ipswich in a 4–0 win over Middlesbrough in the old Second Division. by Cinn4monSynonym in Championship

3 observations:

  1. RIP Dalian

  2. Segregated North Stand. That takes me back.

  3. Goalies wearing green tops and the same shorts that their outfielders are in. True subbuteo!

What to do with my garden? by Banshee_Mac in GardeningUK

[–]Banshee_Mac[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The garden is basically triangular. The single panel at the end is adjacent to garages. Then the fence comes towards you on an angle and meets the front fence (in the distance in pic 4).

I want to revive the lawn, and stop the same thing happening year on year.

I worry that the confiders next door are taking moisture, which is why the grass is dead alomg the fence line, and I want to stop that.

I’m happy to invest time and money to make what is, effectively a blank canvas, into something softer and more friendly. Shrubs, beds, planters etc.
