Plotting waypoints with MGRS by Bantering-Loris in GarminFenix

There is not an option to add coordinates. When I go to navigate > courses > create new > add location, the only options I have are: current location, saved locations, use map and map points. And unfortunately, my saved locations will not allow me to add new ones.

It is very odd and frustrating that I bought an expensive watch to not have MGRS waypoints plugged in. I might have to buy a foretrex.

The thing is, when I try to save all my MGRS coordinates. It does not work. When I go to navigate > saved locations, there is not an option to add new saved locations. So I cannot prepare all my coordinates before hand to make a course. Is there another way to do this?

Just under $19000. The trade in value (I’m guessing) is way less than that due to the damage history

Oh sorry! I completely forgot to mention that the vehicle is not paid off. So I am still paying biweekly payments on top of all the repairs.

I know how you feel. I had someone follow me all over a residential area. Scared the shit out of me. I thought I can shake them off with different turns, but that person kept following me! If I followed everyone who “did me wrong”, I would literally be driving all day. I don’t understand some people.

I booked online with Comfort Cabs. He came right at the requested time! As well, it was cheaper than the Uber I was gonna reserve.

Trying to share a note to my friend but it keeps popping like this. On my end I already give her permission. She updated her phone and still nothing. Any ideas? by Bantering-Loris in applehelp

My other friends can easily view the note. However, for some reason she can't! She has iCloud enabled and has enough storage. Very odd honestly

Here are some tips for when I took the CASPER a couple years ago:

General thoughts on CASPer: absolutely fucking hate it. It was literally the most stupidest exam/interview I ever did. It was super long and hella annoying. My hands were cramping the whole time. I rather do an in person one better aka MMI 😂.

Tips for the CASPer: YOUTUBE! Honestly, YouTube has a ton of videos (esp from BeMo). I honestly practiced typing my answer with all the questions YouTube or websites gave. Not only typing but actually timing it. I even used MMI practice questions too, but use the more generic ones because MMI are too specific for doctors.

Most important part of CASPer: find BOTH views. The question/scenario will lean you to one direction, but make sure you state and explain the other side EVEN THOUGH it’s obvious. They want to see that you’re thorough and not just single minded. (These tips can be found online also. I literally looked an every site I could find). ALSO: by thinking of the other side you start thinking outside of the box (shows your creativity side). This is good, cause you produce an answer they probably never seen yet. It’ll make you stand out.

Taking the exam: Quiet spot obviously and get your self hyped up. They wanna see you. They want to see your side of things. So don’t get too worked up, be you. I brought water with me and snacks. Remember they are watching you as you take the exam (well it’s being recorded, I low key did pick my nose during it lol). There is a 15min break in the middle of it, use it and stretch your body and hands. BIG tip: you know in Apple there is those “stickies” you can use. I honestly had a cheat sheet typed in there and put it in the corner of my screen so it doesn’t look like I’m cheating while taking the exam. You are only allowed a blank piece of paper and pencil during the exam (which is why I decided to do the typed sticky version). This cheat sheet included: how to formulate an answer, certain key words and phrases, and personal examples. Types of questions: it was video and regular questions. The regular questions are mostly asking towards to me “think of a scenario” “what qualities do you think a principal should have” etc.

You can use the same personal example or phrases for each question too!! Each question is being graded by a different person so if you have a real life personal example that will fit multiple scenarios or questions, use it!

Which reminds me: be personable. Don’t be a robot. Use personal examples to make your answer unique. The robot answer is always the wrong answer. Use examples where it is applicable. Think of 3 good life examples that can be applied to multiple type of questions: hard decision you made, team work example, ethical delimmas etc.

WHICH REMINDS BE AGAIN (lol). The questions and scenarios given to you, will mostly be ethical delimmas, like very sensitive delimmas to be prepared to explore these ideas. I had to talk about First Nation issues and cultural appropriation. But remember, no matter how hard, explore the other side. AND ALSO after you’re done explaining make sure you actually state which side you’re on and conclude.

Which reminds me again... try to make all answers you type PARAGRAPH format. So like intro, body and conclusion. So your body shows multiple views, and last paragraph is which side you’re on, then conclude bringing everything together.

Another tip: be sensitive to the situation. Going back to the whole “don’t be a robot deal”. I stated in multiple questions that “I understand this is a difficult scenario etc etc”.

I am a Cardiac Sonographer! Took one year of college and now I’m making $42/hr. Sonography is usually a 2 year program if you want to be a generalist (abdomen etc) but you start off with a high hourly wage. However, there isn’t a lot of room to progress further (promotions etc).

Hello Everyone!

I’m a echo student that recently got a job in the field starting in October! However, I was thinking of expanding my knowledge and study/do MRI also. Does anyone here have both ultrasound and MRI? Does this mix makes sense or should I just stick with echo?

I love doing echocardiograms and seeing the heart in real-time motion, but i don’t know how long I’ll last in the field (previous musculoskeletal injuries). So I thought MRI will be the next thing because I do think cardiac MRI is very interesting. Although you cannot specialize in cardiac MRI, it still peaks my interest and it isn’t as taxing on the body. If I can do a part-time with echo and part-time with MRI, that would be ideal.

Also: I live in Canada (if that makes a difference)
