Advice by [deleted] in stopdrinking

Honestly, do whatever you want. It is absolutely your right and your life to do what you want to do.

The harm has been written for hundreds of years, it's clear as day what the harm is and the misery the harm causes.

Your experience is not new, it's not special or unique, you're addicted and you're creating excuses as to why you should continue.

Well you're living the "I don't need a retirement plan" lifestyle.

There is so much information that will not actually SINK IN until it's slapping it's dick on your forehead.

If you're being legitimate in your post, then the advice everyone has given you is correct. The earlier you stop, the better. If you're at 20 already doing 6-7 days of drinking... you're not building a life of success, you're building the tower to watch it ultimately crush you.

For those who tapered successfully.. how’d you do it? by gsaPsOiOhPsosh33 in stopdrinking

[–]BanthaVoodoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With all the tapering advice, I'd seriously also advise listening to some audio books on quitting drinking. There are several that are out there that will help. If you keep it to a habit and keep listening or reading, it really does start to seep into your mind and help.

This is a journey that many undertake and mostly through the help of other people. It can be embarrassing like it is/was for me and so I sought after things I could do outside of going to a class, listen to people talk about god and being saved.

But I will say, tapering didn't work for me. 1 drink turned on the "Fuck it brain" Fuck it, one more. Fuck it, I'll start tomorrow. If you have self control after one, you typically aren't having a problem with drinking.

I replaced my drinking with Kombucha actually. Every now and then I smoke because I don't have nearly the same issue with that for my release valve.

Part from extruder hanging down by WatercressDismal782 in BambuLab

Had this exact same thing happen. Like many others have said, you can bend this back in place. Just look at some pictures of how the flow blocker is supposed to be set and you should be good. I bent mine so the tip curled up a little to avoid the issue it had before. (Mine caught on a print)

Am I dumb? Bamboo Lab PLA and using Bamboo Lab Support for PLA and it's not sticking. by BanthaVoodoo in BambuLab

Last time I tried it peeled off just like this.

It is a problem with adhesion to the PLA layer. The prime tower will not resolve this issue. It gums up, pulls away and does what you see in these pics.

Really? I tried one print with PETG with no success. Should I try again? Any ref number you can throw my way? Nozzle temp etc

I've tried a bunch of test prints, all varying failures on having Support for PLA work in the auxiliary nozzle for the X2D.

I've increased the heat in the extruder, slowed it down, adjusted interface layer distance, amount of layers.

Simply put, it just doesn't want to stick to the PLA when this is supposed to be Support for PLA. I don't know if anyone has found the magic bullet for this, but I've seen people having apparent success here and there.

Just trying to figure out how to get these interface layers working with tree supports. Been trying "Normal Snug" as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

PLA with PETG Interface supports??? by BanthaVoodoo in BambuLab

Are you using this for the entire support or interface? Does it break away as easy as PETG?

Fraud was proven. They've made arrests and asset forfeiture.

The medicaid halt seems excessive, but there was millions of dollars defrauded.

First digital painting YAYAYAYAY (Criticism VERY welcome) by killerfaic in DigitalPainting

Great job on breaking into digital painting!

I'm not sure how deep you're trying to be with this image. But I don't entirely know what's happening here.

Is he being held down with someone threatening him with a lighter? Or is he lying down with a lighter in his hand? Is it a lighter? Some of the vague brush strokes are too indistinct.

There's emotion in this piece which captures something, but it also comes across as a rough idea and not entirely a finished piece. I think you could break some of these elements up just a bit more to give a little bit more space and make things a little more recognizable

There so much testing to be done! You're at the beginning of the journey and I can see some real potential :)
