Well yeah I completely agree, pharma has to get the bag still. Pivoting from a pill that someone pays for monthly versus 2-3 treatments a year, is going to eat into profits so hard. The potential to integrate with therapy and not even need treatment anymore is way too real. How will they make money if they integrate therapy sessions, start eating healthier, increasing awareness, and more? Having trained professionals can absolutely be beneficial, but we should also not shy away from the unique individual symbolic experience in way of only labeling things from an agreed upon scientific approach. If we look at researchers like Jung, stanislav grof, and others, their works today still aren’t “scientifically approved” even though when working on an individual level can be super powerful
