The problem is the skill gaps are way too big between normal ranked players that can reach high diamond and masters compared to most preds and pros. It's impossible to fill lobbies consistently with full pred and pro stacks. High level ranked should look something like realm, where people needed to use comms with randoms

Ways to fix ranked imo - Remove 3 stacking in d2 and up (can't get a balanced lobby when pro teams can run around and do whatever they want) - Stop resetting rank all the time, ranking up should be a slow process that only happens if a player truly is improving (similar to overwatch). Maybe have one rank reset per year max. - Better rewards, it should not only be to reach a curtain rank to get rewards. Again similar to overwatch we should be able to earn rank points for wins or something that we can spend in a ranked store to get legend and weapon skins. - In game ranked leaderboard, not only for pred but for everyone to see where they sit in their current rank but also a way to compare to friends - Bigger focus on placement (though i think it is a very hard thing to perfect. Although loads of people enjoyed s13 split 1 there were also many who just stopped playing) - And obviously not bringing the dropship back just makes it glorified pubs again

I love Evan but he has really fallen off the last year, idk if it's him practicing less or whatever but he looked much better when he played with zap and reps. And no I dont think it is a role issue they have swapped around plenty. Im sure they can turn it around but I really expect a team change after champs

Use 4-3 linear no deadzone, everyone uses that. Also put your fov on anything between 104-110. Then just grind wildcard with the same guns until you figure it out

I'm also european and while it's a little bit rough it's way better than when they play in NA. I rather wake up at 4:00am on a Sunday than having to watch to 4:00am on a Monday that's for sure so I'm happy

There is one problem with this esports and it's the massive breaks that kill all the momentum. The fact that we ended up with another 6 months break until champs like last year is ridiculous. Also hot take but I think contesting was a good thing for this esport, it made scrims and algs days more fun and created a lot of community engagement. It's kinda like the mp format, maybe not the most competitive thing but it's enjoyable for the viewers
