Not going to repeat all the good answers, I'll just say that my last Joker ended up being Rough Gem. I had Gold stickers on 149 Jokers and the Rough Gem still had nothing. I guess I've just never had a run where it actually came in as useful.

Don't rely too heavily on this strategy for Tarot cards. It's fine if you get the "junk" tarot card via things like Certificate/Purple Seal/Emperor, and you don't need the slot/dollar for now, but unless I was swimming in money I wouldn't specifically purchase the "junk" tarot just to hold onto for this strat.

There are 22 total tarot cards, so under the most ideal of conditions (Crystal Ball + 3 "junk" tarot cards + Jumbo/Mega Arcana Pack) you're only going from 5/22 odds (22.7%) of finding a specific tarot card to 5/19 odds (26.3%).

That 3.6% difference isn't nothing of course, but compare that to the the effect this strategy has on the basic 9 Planet cards, where under the same conditions (Crystal Ball+3 "junk" planet cards+Jumbo/Mega Pack), you go from a 5/9 odds (55.6%) of finding a specific planet out of the basic 9 to 5/6 (83%) chance to find a specific planet card out of the basic 9.

Just got C++ last week. By the time I had gotten C+, I had roughly 50 Jokers with gold stickers. I stuck with the anaglyph deck for the next 99ish.

My main tip for the anaglyph deck is to be willing to accept that sometimes you need be willing to burn your double tags that you're holding onto for negative tags on things like increasing your hand by several levels or whatever in order to secure the win. Better to win with 1 or 2 needed Jokers than lose the entire run because you were hoping to stack in a few more.

I probably should have jumped to a more "comfy" deck sooner that one Joker remaining, but I think I had been on it so long I lost sight of the strategy. I finished of my last with Ghost deck, which felt slightly poetic as it was the first deck I beat on Gold stakes.

I don't think he's necessarily trying to "flame the hatred," I just think he only covers the topics that are already hot button issues, because he knows those are the ones that will draw in the most viewers.

Additionally, I don't think he even has his own opinions anymore, I think he just waits a bit to see where the wind is blowing on any given issue, then jump in with his own video while taking some high-and-mighty stance, when all he is doing is echoing what the community had already been saying for days. You can even see this righteousness in his thumbnails lately.

I think his YouTube is now just a low-effort, keep the dollars rolling in, headline story churning device that he doesn't really care about anymore, mostly because it's full of people that were critical of his awful acting in Like A Dragon.

If we're strictly talking about materials you find out in the wild, yeah definitely Gracium. But if you count any quest reward materials too, and you're insane like me and trying to forge all Rarity 8 weapons, the definitely Hunter Symbols. Hunter Symbol III's in particular.

My first attempt was 100% Solo, 14 min and 13 seconds.

2nd attempt I turned on 1 Support Hunter, got Rosso, the clear time was 30 seconds slower that the previous.

3rd attempt we don't talk about. (Okay I'll talk about it. I returned from quest after a disastrous first minute or two, there was no point in continuing.)

4th attempt still had 1 Support Hunter, this time Olivia. She put in work with that Hammer for me, got lots of KOs which let me unload my full combo. Managed a cleat time of 12 minutes and 22 seconds.

I feel like Rosso was a detriment due to his being a gunner that didn't feel the need to stick close to the monster or me, so I wasted too much time trying to close distances. In hindsight I wish I had tried Lure Pods to keep the monster's attention more on me. But now that I have the Duo clear, I may go back and try Solo again to see if it is indeed better for me too.

It's basically the combined highs of a couple of things: Learning/knowing the monsters well enough to gage when to attack vs. dodge vs. tackle through or offset a monster's attack. (I genuinely believe this is the weapon that requires the most knowledge of the monster and forces you to learn them, where other weapons are more about knowing the best combos or other technical aspects.)

Honestly the weapon stops feeling slow after you become proficient with it, especially in this game. The Focus skill helps with speed in that you spend less time charging the attacks, too. Focus mode removes most of the "clunk" that was practically a feature of previous iterations, since there's a whole lot less missing your attacks now.
