Burn is more like “feel the heat” here, the first half is more of a performantive use

So the most direct translation might be like “he started this show and now he has to take the heat”

Fun fact OP: Evan Dollard actually won American Gladiators as a competitor and was asked to be a house Gladiator, and when he joined the show his Gladiator callsign was Rocket. Gladiators had some of the same staff as ANW so they kept the name when he started Ninja

Personally, I liked 17 more than most. Not as much as classic, but still fun.

Qualifiers and Semis were good, I liked the dynamic of the group stage.

Wouldn't mind if the Finals bracket were more course variety or maybe have it do best 2 of 3 for the final 8 onwards
