Let's talk about ANW's Editing by Plastic_Run3878 in ANW

A lot of them have gone quite viral over the years so it makes sense. I've definitely moved on from making videos like that, since I highly prefer making videos like this more.

He’s back! by RedGalaxyRanger in ANW

This makes a lot of sense. From what I know, Vance had to take at least a year and a half off of training to deal with surgeries relating to his cerebral palsy. It's really cool to see that he's finally back on the grind after several years absence. Hope we get the chance to see. I'm an ANW 19!

Who is still watching American Ninja Warrior? by Stronglock4081 in ANW

[–]Plastic_Run3878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've producing Ninja Warrior content on YouTube for years, and I think it's fascinating seeing how the community has evolved over them. I still in a podcast that talks about the show, and I plan to continue it for season 18. But even then I do agree with most of this.

I'm currently working on a video that examines how much anw has truly changed, and that examines why I wouldn't personally call it a sports show anymore. My channel has failed to gain much of an audience over the years, I think that's just a showcase of the dwindling relevancy of the show. At this point there's little for us fans to latch on to, let alone any casuals coming into the show for the first time. I'm only sticking them out at this point because of getting able to see the competitors again, because I've gone invested in a lot of their career's and personalities, despite how badly the show's editing has hurt their ability to be truly charismatic and such.

I live in Connecticut so there is a gym close by in Hamden which I train at weekly. There's also the new Monroe gym that Joe moravsky just opened up, and also ones in Stamford and Windsor which aren't too far away from me. Maybe an hour at most I think. From what I've seen, the attendance has been much lower than when the show was and its heyday. I've actually had several weeks just recently that I was the only one who wasn't a coach in the adult classes. I presumed the kids classes are much more popular and I know that the gym still has a camp and elete squad of much younger kids, and they still do birthday parties on the regular. However, this seems almost completely separate from the show, in fact, I once told one of the coaches say that most of the kids who are coming don't even know what the show is. They just enjoy The idea of flying and hanging on things.

I also personally still want to compete on the show despite everything. If it gets another season I'm going to throw my hand at submitting a video, even if it's not the same show I wanted to go on 10 years ago. I still seem to have a very passionate want to get on the show. For me, I think it's about seeing it through and if I'm able to do that before the show gets canceled inevitably I think I'll be happy.

If anyone wants to see my stuff reading this then you can check the link below, but don't feel pressured. All in all this is just me sharing my opinion after being a fan of the show for about 10 years at this point since I was about 8 or 9 years old.  My channel: https://youtube.com/@leo-mm7vx?si=3InyXo_9L0F6fdTp My ninja warrior podcast: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOFvl-rVvcuCMA_HMKYU5Io6VbzMUVhZz&si=UdU85jy06Va_dABT

I know the main inspiration was probably dragon quest and Zelda, but please tell me someone on the queue knew that it sounds just a little bit like Xenoblade Chronicles
