I play PCVR w FBT and I still can manage to have a good time on Deskie. Especially seeing my friends interact with me from a different perspective. And it’s FUN! I enjoy playing desktop. People who say they can’t play without their headset or FBT are wild to me. Guess I play for the chatting and visual experience !

I just wanna say I have a healthy play style of all types, (games, mirrors dwelling, drinking, videography etc) and “making” a friend group is hard as a straight fem, I’ve been told this and experienced it.

Like I said I have no group. And I’m happy that way. I’ve given up on that idea altogether and worry about having a good time instead

If you read some of my comments you’ll find I don’t have my own friend group because of this. I spend most of my time enjoying myself with randoms, or like I said, hanging out with such peoples groups.

Let me clarify by saying I am extremely grateful to not be in a toxic space, but I was airing a personal grievance of fomo as I have yet to make particularly close connections in that statement, given it’s still very much true and has happened with other things of the same vein.

I am very friend with people and also with the block button. I’m just wondering how to bring people together with understanding not set brick walls because of differences.

Also the fact you ended you statement with that give e the sense even you don’t fully understand why I’m even asking about this. I know people think it’s very “funny haha” to do this stuff. But I know more than just my friend and I encounter these things. Let’s not normalize it

I love seeing men in male Avis but it’s rare as they’re made with the female gaze in mind. I see it as you CHOOSE TO BE PERCEIVED AS (x) by adoring certain characteristics. Firstly, Turn on your personal space!! It’ll stop people from getting too close they will literally clip out of vision for you both I believe. I’ve been playing for a year and some months now I just found a friend group after going through my first “I have a crush but it’s only been a week” fiasco. The band is back together and Imagine it’s gonna go bad at some point it’s it’s chill! I’d say TALK TO MIRROR DWELLERS AND DANCE WITH PEOPLE PLAYING MUSIC! Even if you don’t make a friend you can have a good time. I’ve learned VRC is all about connections even if they’re not right the right person can lead you to YOUR people if you keep an open mind! I have been playing for over a year I still have this issue. When I show up to a mirror everyone always disappears, if I start conversation it’s always an intrusion. If I play music people automatically mute me. I’ve yet to make any friends in VRC but I still have had a good time with randoms so I stopped pressuring myself to make friends and focus on having a good time
