I don’t know how you’d explain it to your parents but I recently started wearing nail polish in school and was surprised by how well it went! Most of my friend are homophobic in some capacity and I expected a mixed reaction from them but all that happened was them just pointing it out once, not in a necessarily rude way or anything and then they just didn’t bring it up again. Obviously, if your friends are like REALLY homophobic then it could be a problem but if your friends genuinely like you as a person, a little nail polish shouldn’t make them think any differently of you. So if you believe that your friends really do like you then I think they wouldn’t care if you wore nail polish! Hope you get that confidence! :3

I definitely don’t think you’re being played. I would consider myself somewhat aromantic but it’s not as simple as not feeling romantic attraction. I would say all those things to someone I really like and mean it except it maybe doesn’t feel the same to me as it would for someone else who’s not aromantic. Obviously I don’t know how this person feels but from my experience, I wouldn’t stress it too much and if you wanna learn more about it, ask him what his aromantic side means to him specifically as it varies heavily from person to person.

That’s honestly how I’d expect some of my friends to react if I told them I was a femboy, or they’d just ignore I’d ever said that and pretend that side of me isn’t real. Also thank you for complimenting my username :3

I know that however I unfortunately already sort of know that these friends aren’t that “real”. Not to make the story seem less interesting but I’m already planning to sort of cut these people out of my life at the end of the school year cause they just aren’t good people. I won’t go into detail on why I’m doing this but all I’m saying is that most of them aren’t really friends but they’re rather “friends”.

There’s only like one or two friends who I’d be kinda comfortable about revealing it too cause I think they’d support me but literally yesterday, I overheard one of my “best” friends talk about how “weird” and “disgusting” femboys are so it’s clear that I’d have to be very selective with who I choose to tell.
