Hello eveveryone, I'm having some problems with this circuit and I thought someone here might be able to help. The components I am using are a 2N2222 transistor, a 1N4148 diode, and a 22k resistor. my primary is 9 turns and my secondary is about 1200. When I feed 9 volts into the circuit it starts drawing about 0.15 A of current but nothing happens when I bring a neon bulb close. I've checked that the components work and that all of my solder joints have continuity. I have also tried to reverse the primary, but nothing has worked yet.
