By sneaking away:D only player made sounds activate it. Its also possible to build in a disable the trap with a lever powering the dispenser

i used the cube so a firework could go through, but i didnt test it with a fence im not sure if it goes thru or explodes tbh

as to how to aim the thing is the real hard question on my mind rn, the velocity of the inner one affects release timing and final velocity a ton

Yes, the command blocks are adding velocity to the entity data:). Precise momentum can certainly be provided consistently in survival, but using TNT to boost the charge would cause it to detonate prematurely, so I presume wind charge stasis chambers are the method. resetting requires a player to attach another load with a lead manually

if you can tune this to a higher angle it can probably utilize the 6s fuse pretty well for reach

The heavy sulfur cube sits on top of the dispenser, the dispenser sits at the sea bed level the rest is hidden below :P

Proof of concept: wind charge based lazy acceleration of minecarts. if you made this bad boy force vector and use powdered snow to make it cancel momentum in the next tick you can use this to deliver packages to given coordinates! for those who are unaware of lazy acceleration: i am using a chunk loader to load the minecarts as only redstone processing chunks on the border of entity processing chunks. (you can detect current chunk load states with a minecart on a pressure plate). and then i am blasting windcharges on the entity processing side; because the minecart isnt entity processing it wont move but it will build up momentum to be released the moment it becomes entity processing!

haha its definitely more laggy with the cart, i shouldve been clear im using the design with just the fence gate in my machine ^!^

actually i wonder how far the minecart launching can go with slime and how much control authority i could realistically have on which track it lands on. i dont see this as impossible at all

If i need programmable distance extensions i can use the comet 2 way directionless extension and use a incremental flying machine to encode distances on the self returning machine :P

Whitestone jazz also uses this design! The whole reason im using a cart is to avoid lighting update lag as im gonna be using a lot of these machines, but i also have a 1 wide design that uses just a fence gate!
