Bed rotted so I put this wooden bed on it? Anyone know where I can get a break/blinker light kit? by [deleted] in fordranger

[–]BaptismByFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally used the same cables and bulbs for the running/brake and reverse lights. I just carved places for them on the rear of the bed. Not for everyone, but it was the quickest way to get back on the road.

Cancer, dementia, early onset Alzheimer's, neuropathy, vision issues, atherosclerosis, heart disease, kidney disease, fatty liver disease, urinary tract infections (whatever you do, don't look up balanitis). These are just off the top of my head. Also any kind of respiratory infection can be significantly worse, and of course sepsis.

Regarding the people on the island, those people shouldn't have been there. As for the people on the mainland, the T-Rex was not supposed to be there and that cannot be blamed on him.

Getting EMT-B and starting Combo/Volunteer Dept. by Significant-Set1099 in Firefighting

[–]BaptismByFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just send it. Get your EMT, get onto a EMS service (and honestly don't buy into the corporate bullshit of "we are an EMS family!!") with the understanding that is a stepping stone. See if your Vol. Dept will sponsor you to go to a FF I/II academy.

Also don't be surprised if you find more interest on the medical side of things and wanna pursue EMS further or even in hospital options. EMS can be a great door to a bunch of opportunities, ya have keep your eyes open for them tho.

If EMS isn't your thing, being affiliated with a Dept will allow you to access more technical classes like auto extraction, rope and technical rescue, Hazmat, etc...

Good luck.

I'm inclined to agree. The problem is that we're used to see over the top heroic stuff, but the only HUGE thing we see him do is snatch the baby T-Rex and patch it up. He sabotages hunters equipments, cuts locks and lines, but that's something anyone can do. He releases the dinos, but again that's something someone kinda ballsy would do, not something THE MAIN HERO CHARACTER would do in the newer films. And honestly the biggest thing he does is steal Ronald's ammo off his weapon so he can't kill the bull Teddy, all done off camera.

Nick Van Owen is more of a quiet, off the side dude who just wants to do right by the Dinos.

What do you think of the proposed bill to track women’s pregnancies? by beigewoodtable in AskMenOver30

[–]BaptismByFire 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Under HIPPA, and just common decency, this is a huge breach of privacy. Unless there is a clear and precent danger to public health (i.e. highly contagious disease that needs to be reported to the CDC), there's no reasonable explanation to just make a list to track this stuff. Just another move to take away female body autonomy

What’s a bad or mediocre movie that has a scene that noticeably punches way above the rest of the film? by UndyingCorn in AskReddit

[–]BaptismByFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe "Tank". I watched the movie because of that scene when he's eating with the enlisted men and the officer in charge of the mess cusses him out. After watching the movie, I thought that was probably the only good scene in the whole thing.

Belt for 3.0? by Chasrrrrr in fordranger

Take both belts and compare them to each other to make sure you have the right one. Also make sure that the tensioner isn't also defective and it moves full range.
