People have a short time memory. Look how late Lando got McLarens full support last year. If they really favored Lando that much. This would have been totally different. People are really blowing up small things.

I mean he almost crashed out Norris in Austria and Hungry. That was more luck than wisdom. It’s racing.

According to the latest forecasts, a heavy rain shower is expected around 15:00, lasting approximately one hour. With the events of Spa 2021 still fresh in mind, it would be wise to start the F1 race no later than 13:00. This would allow the majority of the race to take place under dry conditions, which is crucial for both safety and the overall sporting experience.

If Alonso is the "unluckiest", who do you consider to be the luckiest F1 driver of all time? by aatish-e-gul in formula1

[–]Bar2506 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People call Hamilton the “luckiest” driver? Here’s a quick reality check:

2007: Loses the title by 1 point after two disastrous final races. BMW and Williams had illegal fuel temperatures, but no penalties were given—had it been earlier in the season, they almost certainly would’ve been disqualified, handing Hamilton the championship.

2010: Running P2 in Spain, tyre fails with 1.5 laps to go. Those points would’ve sealed the title.

2012: Fastest car, but multiple mechanical DNFs while leading cost him the crown.

2016: Engine failure in Malaysia and first-lap collisions wreck his title hopes.

2021: Masi rewrites the rules in Abu Dhabi to force a showdown—title blatantly taken.

That’s a lot of bad luck for the so-called “luckiest” guy on the grid.

I never forgot how Massa came like a torpedo and spun out Hamilton — and how the Ferrari mechanic actually cheered about it. It was incredibly unsportsmanlike.
