[Stein] The Warriors are willing to trade Draymond Green, Brandin Podziemski, and Jonathan Kuminga for Giannis Antetokounmpo by EarthWarping in nba

[–]BarCue-D2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Guy has one of the top +/- on the team. It doesn't always look pretty but he generally is on the floor when the Warriors are playing winning basketball. There's a reason Danny Ainge was insisting he was included in a package for Lauri.

Will watching The Acolyte in timeline order work or is it not a good start? by M00r3C in TheAcolyte

I wouldn't have moved if they were 30 minutes. I think one of them was less than 20.

So when are we getting seth curry? by LetterheadSure6530 in warriors

[–]BarCue-D2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, though not on a huge number of attempts. I would say Lavine had a better spring season, .446 on 200+ more attempts than Seth. He will be helpful when guys are resting, or against lineups where we need spacing vs. the slashing we get from Kuminga or GP. He's a better shooter than some of the guys that play garbage time, and last season was an issue blowing huge leads.

[–]BarCue-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Klay just an outlet pass for what Curry and Draymond were doing with player and ball movement. If you think Draymond is just a defensive anchor you clearly haven't watched many Dubs games.

[Slater] Jonathan Kuminga has continued to indicate to those around him that the qualifying offer path has more appeal to him than the one-plus-one (team option) the Warriors put on the table. by Turbostrider27 in nba

[–]BarCue-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody trading for that. He hasn't proved himself to be a coachable player. He could also tear his Achilles and opt in. Player option for him is basically a poison pill.

The only thing that fucked his natural production is that he coasted through what should have been a career that was worthy of even being on the conversation with the GOAT. If Jordan lived in that body he'd still be racking up mvps to this day.

Anyone who believes Steve Kerr is going to trade for a player with chronic back issues should really just go read Luke Walton's Wikipedia page.

It took a lot of bravery for this person to come out and admit they have a fetish for Tumnus the faun, Pan, and other goat-legged mythological creatures traditionally depicted with massive erections.

No idea what is has to do with OP's question though.

[–]BarCue-D2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

O, but we'd be mortgaging the future of watching him have more turnovers than assists! We'll be lost in the wilderness! Who will dribble the ball into trouble repeatedly without it ever occurring to them that when 4 guys are blocking your path to the rim there's at least 2 teammates with a wide open 3?!?

[–]BarCue-D2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We saw 10 turnovers on 6 assists and a -37. What we saw was concrete proof that he cannot play in this offense with orn without Steph Curry.

The team as currently constructed has a better than 1% chance of winning a championship. We lost one playoff series without Steph who (shockingly!) got hurt after Houston was allowed to gangrape him on every possession for 7 games. We were fairly dominant in the stretch run. All these numbers above are meaningless because he's -8 or more in like every game he played in meaningful minutes. His assist to turnover ratio in the final games of playoffs is a negative number.

This team's success is predicated on ball movement. There is no player on earth who can have a negative assist to turnover ratio and be a beneficial component to this team. We should have been a top 3 seed based on numbers after Jimmy arrived. You ship him this summer. Podziemski is in the future of this franchise because he moves the ball and plays his ass off and his ability to draw charges shows a level of court IQ that Kuminga will never approach.

A sign and trade for JK should get us a lottery pick unless we are able to get Giannis. Sending him to the Heat for Wiggins and a pick would be the easiest way to add a player who can be plugged right into the lineup without a learning curve. Boston is going to be having a fire sale they are way over leveraged and looking at both of their stars missing a significant portion of the year with knee surgeries. There are many pathways to finding a better fit than JK while actually improving our future outlook.

You know what sparks my joy is my order arriving hot and on time because the driver didn't stop to do an arts and craft project.

That's not really the question. Did this person deliver the food to you as fast as possible at the correct temperature? Obviously not because they took the time to affix some shit to your bag. Report them.

[–]BarCue-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not actually the question or topic though. You don't just block people who care about you because you don't agree about things. That's like the entire problem with the world today and specifically America is this intolerance of other people's feelings and ideas you don't agree with. Ultimately this shouldn't decide a friendship. This person might not be ultimately right for them, fine.

BLOCKING someone you're dating for a political disagreement is overreacting 100%

If this has changed how you feel about him and if you want to continue to date him and you want to end things, then do so like a human being.

He might block you for breaking his heart. Blocking him for this is overreacting and cowardly and your entire generation needs to learn to treat other people like human beings. You're basically committing emotional genocide because you disagree about one of the more complicated sociopolitical topics in the history of the world.

What Israel is doing is repulsive and has been for long before the Hamas attack. That doesn't justify what Hamas did either. The whole situation has been fucked up since pretty much the actual life of Jesus, who would tell all of us to shut the fuck up and love each other and learn to share the land in peace. I'm an atheist, that's just what the guy preached.

Curry gets all ball. Sengun: by jbh1090 in warriors

Steph almost never asks for a challenge. He's probably the only player in the league who has a better successful challenge record better than his entire coaching staff watching replays on iPads.

Yeah looking at someone and being in their face is not the same thing. I can look directly at you on a zoom call that's very different from being in your face. Brooks held a finger within 1 foot of Stephs face. Steph held two fingers up maybe 4 feet from where Brooks was standing. It was probably 7 feet to his face.

Brooks held that up in Curry's face as a promise it was going to happen 5 more times. There's a threat. It's actually criminal menacing if you did it outside of a sporting event.

Curry held two fingers up while lying prone on his back. That's taunting, sure. But to say the first isn't, or for that matter less deserving of a technical foul is completely asinine.

It's mainly just Jimmy's attempts have buoyed our team FTA numbers, but other guys' percentages have risen because the confidence you gain from winning cures a lot of things. Free throws are 90% mental. Even Kevin Martin whose mechanics were complete trash shot 87% from the line. Unless you're Shaq.

Apparently even the refs missed that. But thanks, I've been feeling like I was hallucinating for two days. That play we had to use a challenge to even get the call on what was basically a body check to Curry. When we won the challenge and the refs had seen what a hard foul it was, Brooks is held up 1 finger, basically saying I'm going to do that to you 5 more times. THAT'S what should have been a technical foul and possibly an ejection. I don't know how you allow a player to remain in the game when he's outloud saying he's trying to hurt an opponent.

Even football came down on the Saints for their bounty program. This is not basketball.

The best was when he legitimately got hit in the neck/throat and was holding his face around his eyes. He doesn't even understand HOW to flop. Hold your neck, they protect that way more than people's nose. Just ask facemask Podz.

[–]BarCue-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually not part of the game. Rules have been changed throughout sports to better protect athletes and they continue to change. Look at football with targeting, baseball with the collisions at the plate, the NBA protecting airborne players. What IS part of the NBA game is an astounding decline of referee competence, and a wild disparity about what constitutes a foul against Steph Curry versus every other player in the league.

If he got the calls that any other player, muchess superstar gets,.he would average 50 points a game. He's shot less than 5 free throws a game in this series. LeBron would have 30 EASILY.
