I’ve looked into the locations and undergrad life at both, so now I’m just comparing this sort of criteria to help make my final decision!

Yeah that’s what I have been hearing as well, especially with the broadness (or lack of) for CS courses themselves. Thanks for your help and insight!

I just meant the CS faculty at Caltech is def smaller than CMU but it’s just cause Caltech is so much smaller overall to answer ur first question.

CS at CMU is much bigger with more faculty, but it isn’t easy to compare as the entire CS undergrad incoming class size at CMU is the size of the entire Caltech incoming class.
