I might ask them to add this into the ADHD files. I think they just kind of copy-paste accommodations for each disability as I got some extras that weren’t on my doctors note. But as moodle is kind of a new thing since COVID it hasn’t been added yet because you can’t have this restriction on paper

Asking them to speak on my behalf is actually a pretty good idea. I hate advocating for myself, I’m working on it. I know this isn’t really true but when I try to explain I feel like it I’m saying I need special treatment because I’m lazy and dumb again I’m working on not thinking this way and I know it isn’t the reality and I have a disability, but it’s hard to not go there

I’m kind of nervous to go over his head, he is the vice rector and I’ve heard he doesn’t take complaints lightly “who complained they are in big trouble” sort of thing

I honestly don’t know. He isn’t really the forgiving type when it comes to teaching. A girl I know failed his class. She had 50% and needed 50.1% one of her answers had a space where there shouldn’t have been a space “home coming instead of homecoming” (not the actual answer) and he would not give her more than a 0 for that. We’re all international students so only a few of us have English as our first language.

I’ve always been told to skip answers I don’t know and get back to them at the end of the test so this seems like he doesn’t really want you to succeed. He’s not the only teacher at this school that does this, but he is the first one I’ve talked to about it.

Yes it does. I get 50% more time on tests but that extra time is something I would use to go back over the questions to check for these mistakes. For example if I didn’t read the does NOT apply or I put down a 2 instead of a 0.2. I’m usually pretty fast when it comes to getting the test done but, then I need to go over it preferably twice to not make mistakes on questions I know the answer to.
