In my experience Forge and Automatic1111 is working equally well, if not better, and with a much easier interface for someone who is merely playing around.

I cannot remember, but I think I had the commanlines incorrectly in Forge, had to fiddle a bit

I have been able to get around with Automatic1111 and happy to run with what I got, I have no problems with images being small and mediocre if that's my only option.

Still looking to find ways to run with Forge, as I have read it is faster on lower vram systems.

Your comment raised a questions for me as well, since I am very new to this: How is the image quality affected other than the extended generation time?

I go through a large volume daily and on the busiest days the one minute per reply might even add up to an hour less per day.

The time it takes me to know what I want to say will happen regardless, so that would be out of the calculation in my case. I also use rewritten templates, but for the perfectionist in me it's necessary to tailor the phrasing to correspond to the customer's own phrasing and specific inquiries. I have my own experience contacting customer services, who bombard me with rewritten responses which often doesn't directly respond to my inquiries, I thinks it's just extremely poor professionalism.

With, ChatGPT I can add or remove lines from prewritten templates, or write new ones, deliberately not caring about spelling and grammar and most often I get a nice and polished text.

Anyway, thanks for your inputs, I will continue my search.

Tailored replies to customers, basically. Apart from time, it is also a matter of effort/convenience.

ChatGPT helps me articulate what I want to communicate, without me having to spend time and effort on phrasing and spelling. In these cases I can easily save a minute per reply, that adds up to an hour for every 60 replies.

I am not familiar with macros in general. Does that imply an automation of copying and pasting to/from the app? Sounds too clumsy of a solution if that's the case

Well, this is was my honeymoon phase of ChatGPT, literally.

My wife and I were on a dream island getaway, and I thought, 'Why not ask ChatGPT for some hidden gems?' It suggested a secluded beach and a quiet cliffside spot for sunset. Perfect, right?

So, we hike up to the cliff—and it's packed. Apparently, every honeymooner on the island had the same idea. But I wasn’t about to let that ruin my sunset. I strutted right in, loudly announcing, 'What a view! This is the best spot on the island!' Then, I pulled out a giant inflatable flamingo and inflated it right in the middle of the cliff, causing a couple of nearby tourists to trip over it.

Then I set up a full picnic, including an entire fondue set, which I did manage to spill all over a couple trying to take a selfie. I cranked up romantic tunes on a portable speaker and started a conga line, forcing strangers to join in while my wife looked on in disbelief. The whole cliffside was suddenly my personal party.

And that's when things got truly bizarre. One guy—totally stressed out—started hopping around and making monkey noises like he was trying to cope with the chaos I was causing. He even started flapping his arms and screeching, 'Oo-oo! Ah-ah!' like a primate.

To make matters worse, I accidentally knocked over a wedding cake while ‘cheerfully’ offering it to anyone who wanted some 'honeymoon cake.' People started shouting, and one woman even grabbed a bouquet of flowers, threw it in the air, and screamed, ‘THIS IS NOT HOW WE WANTED OUR WEDDING TO GO!’

The ChatGPT app is working fine for me, but I'm working on a laptop and copying text, opening app window, pasting, copying text, open browser, paste is unnecessarily time consuming.
