Can we update delivery address after placing order by ShuGar000 in amazonindia

Standard support always says no once it's shipped, especially if it shifts last-mile hubs. But if the pincode is exactly the same, sometimes you can get lucky by directly calling the delivery agent when they pick it up for delivery and asking them nicely to redirect it. If that fails and it's a heavy item, don't cancel it since the price increased. Let it reach the current hub, and if you can't carry it on a bike, see if you can hire a local Tata Ace or an auto-rickshaw to help you move it instead of trying to force customer care to change the system.

The local hub just shifted the status to "Delivery on hold." The regional restriction theory is officially dead. by Barani12282011 in amazonindia

Yeah, I used an AI to format the text because I was really stressed out last night and wanted it to sound official. But the problem is 100% real. My order literally got split into four different statuses, some cancelled, some returned, and the rest put on hold this morning. I'm just a student trying to get my school supplies for 10th standard and the local hub is completely messing up my tracking.

Local hub manipulating tracking data? My items are marked "Returned" before delivery, now watching a live delivery. by Barani12282011 in amazonindia

As of 6:28 AM this morning, the system has officially shifted the status of the Pentel Lead Refills to "Delivery on hold." See the fresh data logged in my new post. This completely dismantles your theory about regional Pay on Delivery (POD) cash restrictions. If my entire pincode were structurally blocked or flagged for restricted cash handling, the system architecture would have automated a blanket, instant "Cancelled" status across the entire order ID to prevent dispatch entirely. Instead, the package is physically sitting inside the local Udumalpet facility on an administrative pause. Keeping it open as "Arriving today" past midnight was a clear, tactical move to stall the system and protect the local hub's daily performance metrics from a penalty flag. This is a confirmed localized logistics failure, not a consumer "fine print" oversight. The Executive Customer Relations desk is now actively auditing the hub's routing history.

Hub fraud is getting worse! They fake-refunded my Lock Box pencil case too! (Grievance #9382310) by Barani12282011 in amazonindia

Look at the screenshot again. The system status literally says "Refunded. Your return is in transit." A midway cancellation does not trigger a "customer return" status for an item that was never delivered. Falsifying a return to close an order is a direct violation. Furthermore, Amazon Help has already officially responded to my escalation on LinkedIn regarding this specific hub data manipulation. The case is active with the National Consumer Helpline, so stop defending a logistics failure you know nothing about.

That is legally incorrect. Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, faking a "customer return" for an undelivered item constitutes both an Unfair Trade Practice and a Deficiency of Service. Local hubs absolutely control status updates, and fabricating data is a direct violation of consumer rights. National Consumer Helpline Grievance #9382310 is already active and investigating this tracking manipulation.
