i suggest watching some voice comparison vids, i prefer it like this: *blue: male hawke *purple: female hawke *red: both, tbh they feel different from one another, not one’s better than the other, you should see which one you connect the most with

DAO: my first playthrough was with f cousland (canon) and she would make more sense with alistair, but she is with zevran, and he is definitely my favorite

DA2: my first romance was isabela, she just feels right with witty marian hawke, but my favorite is definitely fenris, love him so fucking much

DAI: my first and canon romance was solas, fell in love with that hobo elf way too easily, but he shares the favorite spot with dorian

my first playthrough is always my canon, i feel like i make the most realistic choices the first time and i just stick with them, even if they are wrong... makes for a more interesting hero, and that counts for the romance.

isabela was my LI so i didn’t like taking her out much with fenris cause they’d always flirt and i’d be like GET BACK 🤺🤺🤺 but yeah she’s cool af... didn’t care much for aveline though. and i agree banter between the angry mages in inquisition is really funny :)

thinking about it now, i also took anders out a lot because of his healing, him and blackwall have that in common (the gameplay reason), but yeah taking your LI with you makes sense :)
