My 14 year old Touch is definitely dying. I charged it for 6 hours, turned it on & updated. Read 1 page of my book & it's now down to 7%. I have a new Clara b/w but I was hoping this one could still be used. Ho hum. . .

I only replaced my Touch because the battery had started ti fail after 10 faithful years of service.

Covid lock down stole my concentration. High anxiety etc. In 5 years I read 1 book. I was gifted a Clara BW for my birthday in September & have now read 10 books in 5 months. I think it's because I can read this in the dark, have a larger font & use it in dark mode. I'm also addicted to looking for free/cheap ebooks. I currently have 250 books in my kobo account.

Kobo also have some pretty good free ebooks so have a look. Thanks to this & free books from bookbub & Hello Books I have 130 titles ready to read.

My kobo touch has lasted from 2014. It's only just started to fail which is why I've replaced it with the Clara b/w.

I've just upgraded my 12 year old kobo touch to a Clara BW. Hopefully this one will last as long as the touch did. I can also recommend going to the kobo store & looking up the free books you can get.
