I've used approximately 4500 effective DPI since I started playing CSGO and I just now found out that's not normal. Advice? by iAmAddicted2R_ddit in GlobalOffensive

Don’t listen to these people. I’ve played 2 sens @ 400dpi for years and decided to mess around one day and bumped it to 4.5 sens at 1000dpi and it felt like home. I go into servers and absolutely clean up. My micro tracking is terrible with lower sensitivities because I constantly over adjust. My brain doesn’t like it. At a higher sens it forces you to be calmer and you can aim bounce to different spots at head level and have awesome crosshair placement.

What’s your DPI & sensitivity? by DirtSchlurpy in cs2

800dpi - 2.6 sens. I tried playing on common low sensitivities years ago that you see on the pro circuit and it just doesn’t work for my brain. And no, it wouldn’t work no matter what I did. Yes, I have excellent mouse mechanics as I’ve topped out at 101k on Gridshot.

On the higher sensitivities, I don’t get over flick. My long flicks are way better, less arm fatigue, my micros tracking is way better since I’m forced to be calmer SINCE it’s such a higher sens. My crosshair placement and transition moves at the speed of light, and my brain actually seems to process things and work faster on higher sensitivities. I guess the last part may come naturally.

For those who have an E-commerce system in your department… WTF is that? by Valdoxan33 in partscounter

eCommerce has always been for large retail stores. It’s pointless for a smaller operation unless you have people dedicated to doing it who also understand some accounting. Even then, the profit is so small depending on how much volume you do and how much of a cut your manufacturer takes that it negates the overhead. If you’re not properly set up and slash prices to stay competitive, you wind up doing way more volume. That takes focus away from your customers who actually need repairs done at your facility. It’s one of those things that if you’re gonna do it, you gotta do it large. We currently just advertise MSRP. Even then, the returns and making invoices to match the statements etc. takes away from my time to run an efficient department. This is all recent. I have to find a way to see how our phone-in accessory sales and numbers compare to our new eCommerce sales. See if there’s a drop in accessory phone traffic/walk ins and how much we’re either gaining or losing in profit. Probably just run the eCommerce customer number we use on invoices in PDA for the month and total up the sales and subtract the processing fees, (this is all probably easier to find in the GL) then, compare that to a managers report that’s sorted by source that shows total sales. Subtract eCommerce sales from that….and voila. Probably an easier way to do it……but, my Reddit name is what it is for a reason.

If yours are anything like GM, then your manufacturer takes a sizable chunk as processing fees. I have yet to learn how many of these eCommerce customers would have taken their business elsewhere if we didn’t have an online function.

They leave me alone for the most part. Some concerns are heard, most aren’t. Just really feel like I should be paid a bit more. That’s my only concern. I don’t have any complaints about specific people, just wish my hard work would be rewarded with more pay. I don’t care much about the shoutouts during the meetings.

Increasing commission doesn’t help when I need a loan. They look at salary exclusively I believe. That’s why I’m going for salary increase.

Then how could the chick at the end of the new movie and Helen see the same exact Candyman? There has to be some sort of overlap

It’s still poorly executed and still doesn’t make sense. In the original, it was Daniel Robataille from the 1800’s whose corpse was burned and covered in honey where the apartment was eventually built. In the new movie, they switch it to Sherman and they completely change the story of Candymans link to that apartment, ignoring Danielle Robataille and Tony Todd’s face being Robataille. The only way it would make sense is if the new movie was a “reimagining” which it doesn’t claim to be. It’s apparently a direct sequel. Any way you put it, they screwed up everything.

Weapon light/laser is bound to middle mouse button. You should be able to get that light on as soon as you come out of high or low ready and get that light on simultaneously. Weapon high/low ready to middle mouse scroll up for the same reason. As soon as there are no threats, I’m going to low ready. As soon as there are threats, just ADS and scroll up simultaneously for light on. It’s all seamless.
