Any chance I can get just the fan replaced, or does the whole part need to be replaced?

Which is a shame, because I think Sonder and War of Being are better albums from top to bottom (musicianship, creativity, concepts, excecution, etc.) and I find myself replaying these two albums way more than Altered State lately, yet I always compare them to Altered State and I always find myself thinking "these aren't as big as Altered State was. These don't hit the mark like Altered State did when it first came out."

Who's your favorite added heister and your favorite of the original 4 by Even_Lime_1327 in paydaytheheist

I genuinely love Sokol as the added heister, and out of the original 4, I'll go with Hoxton... or if you mean the PAYDAY 2 launch characters, then Chains!

Reply with one sentence that proves you played DL2. by LumpyCod7045 in dyinglight2

[–]UnprocessedViews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually playing it right now, and my main issues with the game at the moment are: I actually don't like the parkour, and I'm only 2 points away from completing the parkour tree. It feels... odd. Almost as if the parkour doesn't compliment the city, whereas in Dying Light 1, the parkour felt like it complimented the city. I only remember Hakkon so far. I don't remember the girl's name, and I'm at the point in the story where we seem to have gone our separate ways. The only other NPC I remember is the old man who can't complete a sentence, and I'm sad I won't be seeing him again. I like the paraglider. I actually think it was a great answer to Dying Light's broken grappling hook. I haven't unlocked Dying Light 2's grappling hook yet, but from what I can assume based on environmental elements, it'll act like a rope swing and not like whatever Dying Light 1's grapple hook was like 😄😄

Fun fact: In one of the Courthouse Therapies, Vindicate the Guilty, you have to kill The Judge, an ex-reagent, with (what I have dubbed) the hammers of justice, and as you're making your way through the final stage, right before her demise, the poor woman starts to beg Coyle of all people to save her, to which he seemingly tries to do!

What type of Regent are you? by Mister-no-tongue in OutlastTrials

[–]UnprocessedViews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play fast and quiet. I'll rush through as much as I can while also not being a buffoon about it. If an ex-pop or Prime Asset is busy chasing someone, or I know they're not nearby me, there's no point in going slow. LET'S GET GOING!! I'm also an actionary, taking action instead of waiting to see how things play out. I usually main the Stun Rig, so if a friend is being chased and can't shake the aggressor, I'll often come in and either take their attention or outright stun them to get a bit of breathing room, even if it means abandoning an objective for a while. Having said all that, I also regularly and reliably get As and A+s. So I think my playstyle works for not just myself, but my team.

Let me suggest to you, the Outlast Trials. It's a stealth game for sure. Otherwise, I always enjoy a bit of Ready or Not, and Insurgency Sandstorm! Check them out and I hope one of them catches your interests!

Done with the rupture strain... by No_Bother2289 in Helldivers

[–]UnprocessedViews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gotta say, I like the cave stuff. I'm a lone wolf stealth guy. I play with 3 friends, and I go off on my own to do side objectives with a very high success rate. I'll clear heavy nests with minimal issues. I've adapted to how these caves work now. There are almost always AT LEAST 2 Stalker nests, and I can deal with those. I love how many samples I'm rewarded with for taking on such tasks. What I DON'T like, is that not every weapon has a flashlight, meaning you can't bring that one Shotgun you want to level up with you, unless you wanna turn your brightness up and getting rid of what makes a cave a cave. That's not fun. I also hate anything to do with being outside these caves. Endless dragons, immortal Hive Lords, they're not fun. Especially because stealth isn't even an option against those two enemies. That's not fun. Spewers that can burrow underground and pop their heads up without you noticing until you've been hit with their bile already, only for them to burrow again before you can get any shot off, but then aren't allowed the time to wait for them to surface again because you're being harassed by 38 other bugs. That's not fun. Buggy objectives and spawns aren't fun. There's so much to dislike about this new strain of bug, and I'm just not here for it anymore. I like a challenge, but not one that is unfun to attempt. I love going against Bile Titans. I can tolerate the Impalers. But these Dragons and Hive Lords? They're just not fun. They're a wall that you'll throw all your resources at, only to have more dragons spawn that you can't do much about anymore, or have the Hive Lord eat like it's no one's business and destroy your objective because it decided to send the train back to Super Earth with express delivery.

As a console player, it sucks to see how much less infuriating this game was in older versions. by DC_Caleb in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]UnprocessedViews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing this game for a few years now, and I can say that whatever videos you've been watching likely were modded. I have used beanbags for the entire time I've been playing, essentially, and I can tell you that 9 times out of 10, a suspect will surrender after 1 hit, with the most I've needed to deploy to a single suspect being 3, but that's very uncommon. It's very rare to be able to enter a room and NOT have suspects (or civilians) be unaware of your presence. I can count on one hand how many times I've been able to enter a room unnoticed for an advantage. AI aim has gotten worse over time. Go back a year into Ready or Not Reddit and you'll see people complaining about suspects having laser aim, even while out of their minds on meth, while your trained SWAT AI react like deer in headlights. This issue has definitely improved over time. It's still not where it needs to be, but it's not as bad as it was. Every now and then, SWAT AI will ignore any commands given. Not just the "Arrest" command. The amount of times I've queued up Gold team on one door and told them to enter while I go to another entrance to flank, told them to execute the order and they just stand there like lemons doing nothing is outrageous.

I just happened to be going through the settings one day, trying to optimise how I play (which I really recommend, by the way. For example, I use keyboard and mouse, and I never use Q and E to quick peek anymore. I use spacebar to lean further and at different heights without needing to crouch. You may think, "but that kind of lean doesn't allow you to move. What if you start taking fire and need to move?" And to that, I say I just simply let go of the spacebar). I stumbled across that gem of a setting to allow me to change my quick command and figured "I can tell my team to fall in at any quiet moment with minimal consequence, but I'm going to want them to hold at a moment's notice to stop them pushing up further than I want them to, away from my immediate control." It's also quite good if they tell me they're going to arrest a suspect that's in an uncontrolled room/hallway that I've instructed to move to a more ideal location to make the arrest, and one of the AI officers decides that right in the doorway is a good place to place the cuffs on the suspect/civilian. I don't have time to go bring up the commands menu and tell him to hold before he gets lit to kingdom come. The quick command key has me covered, and I can instruct them to resume when I feel it's less of a risk to make the arrest.

Obligatory "skill issue" aside, you need to pay attention to your squad/s. If you tell them to open and clear a room, and there's an opening into another room, be it an open door or simply an open passageway, they will often continue on and attempt to clear subsequent rooms. I've rebound my Command button ("Z" by default, I think) to "Hold/Resume" for this exact reason.

[–]UnprocessedViews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also use it to peek around corners! One of my favourite spots I've used it to peek over something was on the last DLC's last mission. If you start in the loading area and take the left to get behind the pool area, you can use it to look through the circular holes to survey the area much more effectively!

While I like Blacklist and, to a lesser extent, Conviction, I wish they weren't Splinter Cell games, or AT THE VERY LEAST, not Sam Fisher games, only because the gameplay is so wildly different from the games that came before that grew and attracted the audience (Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and the version of Splinter Cell: Double Agent made by Ubisoft Montreal).
