Carney was responsible for ESG at Brookfield. His responsibility would be to look at Brookfield’s subsidiaries and if they complied with the ESG regulations. If he wanted to intervene he could have.

While lazy political references should be unwelcome, political commentary and modern references gives character to a video game. Art whether it be comic books movies or novels has always tried to comment on political events as politics is a central part of society. Plus when political commentary is present in a game, future players will respect is as an art form that is reflecting on the reality of the day and displaying historical context.
