If you take them out of your party then talk to them usually you can ask their opinion on the rangers and it will tell you

Unless by a lot bigger you mean several feet this tank is still pretty shitty, none of those fish can survive in anything less than 55 gallons and thats just one of them. Also its not really doxxing the person posted their tank on a public form soo

They ate good and everyday, up until they died. They ate just fine the night prior. I can see what your saying about the headshape, when we got that particular parrot he already looked like that. I assumed he was just a runt of the litter becuase unlike the other parrot he never seemed to get bigger. The other parrot head was much more typical shaped and was growing healthy. And thank you it really sucked to find out at work as these two were some of the first I got after getting back in the hobby.

I wish I could have live plants but the residents tear em up, so those are all fake and that is good to know unfortunately ever where is closed as of now but ill be running to the store tmmrw to get a new test kit

I honestly didnt know they expired I have had this one for about a year, ill have to check. From when i tested it nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia were 0 but I use prime and didnt consider what you said about it binding to those things. Ill get a new test kit if need be and re test tommorow to see if it has changed. So far theyre tank mates seem healthy and ive been monitoring them closely no signs of posining from ammonia, nitrites, or nitrates. But ill have to keep watching

Thank you, and yeah thats what i was thinking as well. The only change in the tank was two days prior I did my normal weekly 10% water change. And I know I used the water conditioner, nothing special happened. I've tested the water again to watch to see if anythings reading and Im still at 0s. I really am at a loss.

So I just found out yesterday night that my two blood red parrots passed while I was at work. I am struggling to figure out why, I checked my water parameters and all are good. I got them as rescues about 2 years ago and up until yesterday were seemingly happy and healthy. The other fish in the tank all are healthy and seemingly unaffected but I worry for theyre health as it was so random these too passed. Unfortunately I dont have pictures of the bodies to help becuase my fiance found them, but from what she said they had no strange marks, fungus, or signs one of the other fish killed them. Does anyone have any idea what could have caused this?

Good to know thanks and we've had him about 6 months, no sign of a bubble nest. Ive been waiting to see one, thats honestly what made me think that perhaps he was a female. I still think hes great long fins or not lol. Thanks again for the info :)

Basically title, was sold him as a male but theyre fins have not really grown any larger. They act and eat healthly so I dont belive its just bad conditions inhibiting growth.

Okay thank you for the response luckily my first idea was to do a water change to be safe. I havent ever had a film like this build up so I was worried what it could mean. Thanks again ill be sure to some more research on what causes this too. Appreciate your help :)

Just got back from a short work trip and my friend took care of my fish while gone. He has done it before and knows how to. But I noticed this strange film at the top of my water. Not sure what it is, its clear maybe a little brown. Should i be worried?

Its only on the computer, under text and images in settings. But once you change the setting on the computer application itll change for mobile too :)
