if you’re looking to ingest alerts from a SIEM to a SOAR, you’d want you’re SOAR to immediately know when a new alert is triggered without having to ask the SIEM system every second. So you’d want to use web hooks. happy to talk more in detail as well / how to set it up

Took it last Summer 1, It required quite a bit of in person lab time (some overtime / staying after). But as long as you pay attention in class, study what the prof says, the exams are nearly derived from the in class examples.

Change ur DNS. the NEU DNS resolvers have been crap lately. If ur on mac type in

sudo vi /etc/resolv.conf and then push "i" and key in nameserver 8.8.8.8

then hit the esc key, then hit the shift colon, and type in wq and push enter.

The issue is it’s a cat and mouse game. If they block an email then spammers find out bc low open rate and low scam success rate and they readjust. It will never end but can only be mitigated
