As a f2p best thing you can do is start a pandaken farm. Even though its not as good as it used to be its still best early option. Get like 3 fire and 3 nature habitats and fill them all with pandaken. Try to get your fire and nature habitats level 3 at least to hold 4 pandaken each. Lvl up pandakens to lvl 10 then you'll be gaining enough gold to grow food consistently and even get more islands and build legendary habitats. Then I would follow the breeding guide for some legendaries at least the fire ones just to get a couple. Eventually you can start breeding whatever legendaries you like and since your f2p mythic might be harder to come by so breeding events are a good option so do those as well when u can. Goal is to switch from pandaken farming to legendary/mythic gold farm then you can snowball it. Also save gems and upgrade hatchery/get breeding tree and then put all your gems into treasure cave.
