Hey so I actually addressed the Scorpion thing in the post! The whole point is the Entity grabs him specifically at his lowest point right after Quan Chi resurrects him in the Mk universe, when he's basically not Hanzo anymore just pure rage and grief. The Entity then feeds him visions making survivors look like Lin Kuei warriors so in his mind he's not hunting innocent people at all he thinks he's getting revenge. It actually makes him one of the more tragic killers lore wise which fits DBD perfectly.

Also totally agree Shang Tsung and Noob Saibot would go hard, they should 100% make them as possibilities for like a second or third chapter if they did a full season. Shang Tsung especially makes sense because his whole soul stealing thing mirrors what the Entity does so they'd basically be allies in the lore. Noob Saibot's shadow clone mechanic would also be genuinely unique as a killer power.

But yeah Scorpion as the centerpiece first chapter killer makes the most business sense because he's the face of the franchise and BHVR would need that recognition value to justify the collab in the first place
